CNK, BMoz daylight then the rest. Opacic is interesting to me as he seems to have won his spot on merit but without the price tag of katoa.Alfie wrote:Righto, how would people rank Kahu, Bird, Opacic, BMoz, CNK, Hunt and Katoa (Sharks)?

Why is everyone sleeping on Katoa (sharks) this year when he was hot favourite last year before injury?

CNK, BMoz, Bird, Kahu. Others have no job security.

Katoa had an exciting highlight reel pre 2018
(But as above, price)

Done some more tinkering, does this team look too top heavy? Think the bench is solid with viable 18th man options but would love to hear any opinions:
McCullough
Fifita Ofa
Murray Lane Arrow
Morgan Brown
Holland Capewell
CNK Kahu Sivo
Mahoney
Taupau
Sironen
Garner
Nikora
Keighran
Flegler
Ravalawa

His highlight reel when he returned from injury last season would have been impressive too. Averaged 54 in ISP on the wing in 12 games.

Essentially in order of Fullback -> CTR -> Wing (for the most part)
Kahu - Playing fullback with goal kicking. No explosive games but should bank on reliable 30+ and could jag a big one
CNK - Playing fullback. Attacking Team. Only thing not to like is the higher price. Comfortable that he can go 30+ and be a solid scorer/cow though. Potential for explosive games too.
Bird - If and its a big if he comes back like he did in his rookie season he is a great buy. Personally feel he may start the season slow
BMoz - Old but still a class player. Will rely on tries to fuel big scores. Could be higher but he's no Fergusson and while I think he will do well I think he will be a bit more feast and famine in scores than Bird
Hunt - Nothing to excite me over base price options....
Katoa - Same as hunt but more awkward Price makes him less of a cow.
Opacic - Can't really comment. Don't have enough to go on to rank him properly.

He was in my first team for quite a while but a there's some other good options out there. CNK for a similar price is playing full back so should be guaranteed decent kick return metres.
In favour of Katoa is that Moylan never takes hit ups, and SJ likes a cut out TA (depending on what side)

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 13
How come people still have Mahoney in their team? With Will Smith on the bench, doesn’t that pose a threat to his minutes. Sure, if he was 212k like Havali last season but at an awkward price, he doesn’t have much upsides.

CNK -> BMoz -> the rest are not fantasy relevant in my opinion

I love a fucking punt and I like that team! If I wasn't so worried about Sivo and his job security I'd be considering Rava and Sivo with Tedesco
