NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 13

I think I'm actually set with my team. I just need to decide who plays at #17 in my team out of Brown, Nikora, Keighran, and Sele. The rest will be nprs. Any stand out choice?

The object of the game is to make as much money as possible, as quickly as possible to bring in the guns.
However you've still got to be scoring well in the meantime.

It's no use making craploads of money in the first 5 rounds if your scores as 50 points behind everyone else each week.
Making up 250 points is not going to be easy and you can only bring in two players per round.

Do you think your team is going to score as well as everyone elses with that much money on the sidelines? It's possible but I would be second guessing myself.

Nikora the safe choice I think.

It can definitely work with some luck as even spending all the coin still requires luck. 

Currently running with 373k in the kitty and happy-ish with my team barring the panic over the next 24 hours.

That is STILL LESS cash then I have had going into Round 1 the last 3 years.

I can't help but feel Kahu. Injury prone and just not that good.

IF morgan doesn't perform, you will have to make 2 trades to cover him and raise enough cash.

Morgan had 1 period in 2017 where he scored well (Round 11 -18), the rest of the time he was just another HLF. I really don't see the appeal, and if you are running another rookie HLF, you could get burnt very badly.

He is just another Lockyer, I don't see him being relevant at all.

It’s total guesswork. They both have impressive pedigrees and Sivo has a terrific YouTube video put together by his management. Rava has one of scoring 5 tries in one game in Canberra Park footy. I like both of them as likely first graders tbh, but how Fantasy relevant they are is a guess.

Sivo for mine. Looks good under the high ball and that’s where I think Parra will be going with their game plan this year. 5 up the guts and kick to the corners to Ferguson and Sivo.

what is NRL Fantasy without a risk or two? Risks is what can be the difference between the top and bottom... you play it too safe and you just gonna sit in the middle of the pack

Ben Barba will be fighting his lifetime ban and intends to play NRL this year.

Of them I would go Nikora. Are you sure the side balance is right? Most sides would have Nikora and at least 1 of Brown/Keighran in their 17. Downgrading another player to one of them and adding a $212k NPR instead could give you $300k+ that you can use to bump up to some gun/sub-gun level players. Net points impact would generally be positive and likely higher cash generation as well.
