Shit I didn’t even realise Gillett was cheaper than Murray and Lane. I’m so used to just not picking him!Welshy wrote:
Only thing I will disagree with here mate is Gillett, if he was starting season priced around his usual fantasy average I’d say yea sure, he is always that one tier under the gun 2RF, 2 below the
Elite but he is under valued by 8-9 points this season (priced at 39) last few years average is 47/48.
He will need to be upgraded at some point unless he plays that lock role then shifts wide long term (I don’t think he will when Pangai is fully fit) because then he could really elevate getting those early tackles and RM in the middle before shifting wide hitting holes

That's the reason people are so high on him fella, think most know he isn't an underpriced GUN, but more than enough in him to make a good amount of cash whilst producing solid 45-48 scores.

Would you upgrade a Sivo/Ravalawa to him if you had the cash?
I've really come round to Burns. Ticks all the boxes: stats, good team and position inside Gagai, looks to be his spot to lose, getting the wraps from everyone.... I think he could be a lock for WFB week in, week out mate. I'd upgrade for sure

I have
Holland, Burns
Edwards, Hughes, Morris.
Tempted to just go Edwards, Morris, Burns and spend that 180k elsewhere.
Have Capewell to fill vacant CTR spot.
Worth it?

I’m the same, I can’t remember feeling confident about so many mid rangers before. I think I could easily make a team with 500k in the bank that I was happy with.Milchy wrote:
People have been talking about 22nd player that we just can't fit in.
I've got 5 spots to fill and 14 players in consideration, so 9 players will miss out (some will be easier to cut than others)

Are we sure he's inside Gagai? What was the result of that debate the other night?

Burns is inside Graham on the left, Gagai is outside GI on the right.

So some crude calculations on my behalf:
240 min total for the middles (80x3)
Gillett takes 20, then TPJ subs on
Flegler takes 20 from a prop
Su'A/Fifita/Glenn take another 20 at lock
That's 240-60=180
That 180 gets split between TPJ, Lodge and Ofa
When Haas gets back, he replaces Flegler
(wishful thinking)

Other than that, you're sorted.
Don't have the stat spreadsheet to produce exact figures but my reasoning was he averaged considerably better (maybe 30) at FB in 2017 than his 2018 abomination of a season.
Will have a look at alternatives regardless.

I personally think Radley won't exceed 45 on average. But avg of say 44 would make 150k approx
