Any reason why Simmonsson is the red headed step child of rookie WFB-
    Ravalawa 20.3%
    Sivo 8.9%
    Simmonson 3.6%

Is there an injury to Oldfield or something I am missing, but if he has found his way into the team on merit, surely lining up outside Leilua would make for some juicy fantasy gimmes?

I've just gone from McCullough and Twal to Cook and Host, so unless I play Host I'm going to have both Kahu & Keighran in my scorers anyway.

And how good does this pack look

    Cook (c)
    Fifita Taupau
    Arrow Lane Murray

    Never mind the rest.

As I edge ever closer to owning Napa, looking more at his stats

Prior to his first shoulder charge incident he was averaging a somewhat respectable 32 (for his current price at least)
For the rest of the season he averaged 15.5 - his highest score was 21.

Was it struggles with his technique that led to the drop in output? And importantly has he got himself sorted over the off-season?

Basically my last few positions will be something like

Friend + Cleary + Napa (would play Napa or Keighran as scoring 17)
    or
Radley + Lane + Ofahengaue (all in scoring 17)

I could also go Cleary + Friend + any other cheap player (if not FRF then will have no FRF cover)

I think this is basically the last decision for my team (playing CNK which is a slight concern, but hoping it works out OK)

Just a PSA, although we can make unlimited trades all weekend until each player's game starts, Captain and Vice Captain will lock out.

So make 100% sure you won't get last minute jitters over you C/VC choice.
If possible C/VC people playing early just to make sure you have maximum options.

McCullough makes a good VC for these reasons (assuming most people don't have Cam Smith to captain)

Cook has a BE of 65, which he exceeded in half his games last year. No real reason to think he'll lose substantial cash. He's an ubergun.

I predicted Lomax would stay at above 20% ownership despite not making the team. Currently at 23.03% what will he drop too by lockout?

I don't know how long it will last but Kahu usually starts well sometimes braces of meatpies. Kahu and Keighran are both in my 17 for this round at least.

I like the Radley option best. Playable upside prospects.

Saying that I did pick up Napa as my 18th man as he's too cheap not to have a go on. New club which needs all the forward movement they can get. He'll have to play the minutes. Its Big Papi's time.

Milchy I want to know what magical elixer was given to Napa before he single handedly destroyed the Souths pack awhile ago.

I had McCollough and Friend but have bit the bullet and now have Cook and Radley for cover. The big C goes from Fifita to Cook and I will stop worrying about my captain's choice.
I do not have any Manly ( the Des effect ) or Penrith ( possible low morale ) in my squad.

that would be bizarre considering he just had a hooker who already had a good kicking game and put it away

Yeah. Never as good a fantasy as IRL player, but that was his last season when he was absolute garbage in both.

Feel like I need one of these bottom priced DPP FRF/2RF to round out my emergencies. Enough has been spoken about Host that I'll probably just go with him and deal with the aftermath later, but what about the others? Kamikamica the only other viable one? Sele/Horsburgh up to fuck all?

I gave up StuDogg and just went Napa for front row cover. You would have to think that either Napa completely implodes or he busts out of his lethargy and delivers after the turmoil of Big Papa.
At least you have the coin to downgrade if , miraculously, some bottom price front rower emerges from the current mediocre talent available.

I see Papenhuyzen is still in the Storm 19-man squad. Waiting for Bellamy to name him at fullback and cue a mass restructuring of everyone's team.

Yeah that's a good point. I'll have to see what I can work out. Might be time to cut Capewell or Mahoney
