What's the general consensus on playing Brown or Keighran in your 17? I only want to play one.

Don't forget this is a season long competition, while this is arguably the most important week in Fantasy, the aim is to be #1 at the end of the year, not #1 just for this week. We are all going to make mistakes, players we wish we had, players we wish we didn't have, but these can all be fixed next week and the weeks after that.
(Basically it's a marathon not a sprint. Don't panic if you score shit this week)
My best fantasy finish was 180th-ish after being 14000th after round 1. Definitely not a sprint

As i posted yesterday. It is not so much as to what you start with but more so what you finish with and how quickly you get there.

Brown seems too much of an unknown (At least for me)
My line of thinking is the AK has a long kicking game (Supposedly), plus kicks goals so should be racking up the points. Can break the line as well, plus the Warriors are at home against a team which many a predictiing will be near the bottom come seasons end..
Warriors should win this one by 20, AK 30 points minimum
It's our year.

I don't know about consensus but I think overall Brown is deemed to be the better pick going forward but Keighran is my pick for this week based on matchup if nothing else.
RAW (Random and Welshy) discussed this on the NRLFF podcast which I highly recommend people give a listen

If my team was going to stay the exact same (apart from cash in bank) Would you prefer Macca at his value and 353K in the bank or Cook with his set and forget captain option and 94K in the bank
?

1 vote for Cook
Edit: First week so prices wont change all that much I don't think? 90K is still an ok amount of wriggle room

Friend does that sometimes. 50 tackles for a score in the 40s because he can easily go a game without any attacking stats.
I don't read too much into trials if there are NRL games to use instead (WCC is slightly above a trial but not too much)

I’m a Cash in the bank and tomato sauce in the fridge guy, but I would go Cook there.StormTrooper96 wrote:If my team was going to stay the exact same (apart from cash in bank) Would you prefer Macca at his value and 353K in the bank or Cook with his set and forget captain option and 94K in the bank

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 14
After spending all afternoon juggling the final few spots in my team I am considering running no FRF
cover
Gillett/Mahoney/Cleary instead
No FRF that excite me enough. Twal i think is only a couple of points undervalued and not worth it. Same with Ofahengaue. So its either Napa and hope he can pout the last 6 months behind him, or take a pint on Surgess
Anyone else I should have as last minute consideration?

You don't think Tolman is undervalued, and a better option than Twal/Ofa?

Tolman is one of the 2 FRF I do have (with Fifita)
Guess I could try and fit Taupau in there but he's a bit expensive and its hard to do.

Final team!
Mccullough
Tolman Fifita
Murray Arrow Lane
Keighran Munster
Capewell Bird
Kahu Teddy CNK
Mahoney
Gillett
Garner
Nikora
Brown
Mikaele
Sivo
Ravalawa
Only change I would make would be to trade Gillett for Siro and upgrade Bird to Burns... thoughts?
I think Kahu will fire this year + first choice goal kicker.. money to be made there

I'm running without cover, but will be keeping an eye on some of the cheap FRF cows
