Morning all, nursing a sore head after a big long weekend and catching up on the thread.
Some crazy scores and a lot of cheapies delivering means some huge scores.
Half the game is hedging your bets or making calculated gambles so you are in a good position for next week when the game really begins
Looks like 2 wet games today, anything can happen in water polo
Now off to find a coffee, blue Powerade and a bacon egg roll

So you got talked into the other 17 players then?
Sounds like we did alright, AFB though might not be at the judiciary

From NRL Physio, Tyson Frizell had surgery last night on what is believed to be a ruptured testicle. Host and Lawrie may be around for a bit longer
You doing okay Welshy?

That would depend if the Mormon’s have knocked on his door first haha
End if they day, people in here only try to help based on calculated guesses.
Each individual makes the final decision on their team, so choose to do what you want with the advice you receive
On a more serious note, I know this prince in Nigeria......

Yeah Lawrie has always been awesome it’s just the minutes he needs.
Think he may be a nice little starter for next week alongside Tolman, Napa can warm the bench perhaps or even swap
With owning host as well, means one or the other should be scoring well for a while so might be a nice little combo regardless of how their bench looks like in a few weeks
The thing with cheap cows is they need that first good score to get their price going upwards fast
So will have to see if Napa will generate cash fast enough for me to warrant on the bench as will want to have a full time FRF their soon
As mentioned before, Napa just needs to cut down the errors which kill his fantasy. Though if the dogs keep getting pumped then this will probably continue
Will have a look monday

There is always at least 1 person against anyone.
Some people here didn't see value in Morgan. But nobody has the ability to actually login to your team and make changes. Everyone has final responsibility for their choices. If you think someone will gun it, then go with it.

Host potentially sticking around is nice - might be able to eke out some money potentially until Haas returns and bank some funds then. He was quite solid last night

Had a feeling there might be a few cheap FRF options to start the year, Napa/Host/Lawrie/Mikaele/Sele so ran with one to start and assess round 2.
Half the problem is working out how they get used or their job security so went with the high ownership option in Napa, but also to work in combo with Tolman.
Sometimes you wish you have a larger squad, but all these options might mean teams will start looking quite different soon too
Exciting times

What a machine.. Reminds me of Buck Shelford who played for the All Blacks and probably the toughest man to strap on boots
Buck was a notable victim of the infamous "Battle of Nantes" in the second Test vs France.
Roughly 20 minutes into the match, he was caught at the bottom of a rather aggressive ruck, and an errant French boot found its way into Shelford's groin, somehow ripping his scrotum and leaving one testicle hanging free.
He also lost four teeth in the process. Incredibly, after discovering the injury to his scrotum, he calmly asked the physio to stitch up the tear and returned to the field before a blow to his head left him concussed.
He was substituted and watched the remainder of the game from the grandstand where he witnessed the All Blacks lose 16–3.
To this day Shelford has no memory of the game
