Mahoney's up to 55. Arrow up to 46, which somehow looks a lot better.

I've had some of my mates round 1 scores not adding up correctly. My missus overall score is different to her round 1 score (even though there's only been 1 round). Why do they still have monkeys running this show?

Holland and arrow my only players not to beat their BEs but will probably give both another week
Just don’t want to miss key cows like lawrie, or likely cut price borderline keepers like Bateman and Gillett
I've always blown a lot of trades early including the year I finished in the top 50 overall. Got to get rid of failed cows or duds. However this year there's nobody that's really emerged as a must have that I don't already own nor is there any pressing trade-outs.
Holland was disappointing but should probably wait and see if the Dogs are going to be that hopeless all the time although I may just have enough cash to go Holland to Bateman.
Napa didn't score well but he can sit in the EMG's until a better option emerges and with Teddy well that's just his worst score of the year out of the way early.

Just noticed the team in second pre-updates is 'Chubaccas champions'
I think the only logical thing here is for our Chewie to challenge this wookie to solo combat using ryyk blades. Winner inherits the Chewbacca title, loser becomes a madclaw.

I think the live rankings were bung since before the last game and that's probably affected the scores too. My "Round 1" score went backwards after full time of the Raiders game so I expect it will all be fixed at once

low key whinge, but Edwards also passed the ball for Tamou to barge over in that game. I just noticed on the fox replay that the camera angle cuts away so you never see it. I guess the stats guys watch the same broadcast so they missed it. He will obviously not get the TA now, but owners take solace in that he wasn't quite as bad as you probably thought.

Okay I've changed my mind. I think some early trade rage might be in order.
Napa to Lawrie if he looks like making some good cash while Friz is out or maybe Mikaele. Holland to Bateman because a busy forward is definitely going to outscore a centre in a potential wooden spoon team.
I hope TLT chats are still a thing on NRL.com because I'll have a decision to make for the week.

Anybody think that Terepos punishment might now end with Brown going down?
5 games at lock for an average of 45 points, which is where is priced.
But the 4 games where he played 50mins+ at lock he averaged 51 so definitely some value there.
FYI- 51 is also his average for the 7 games he started (either Lock or Prop) and played 50+ mins

There is so much more value around than to pick up terepo.

You must have quite the warchest. Napa + Holland > Lawrie + Bateman will take about 140k

I think any player who can make gun scores of 50+ and is more than 5 points undervalued is worth a mention

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 17
Quick look at some PPM cheapie forwards
Mikaele: 34 points in base stats from 31 minutes. 24 tackles, 106m with 2 offloads for attacking stats. -2 for an error.
Lawrie: 39 points in base stats from 40 minutes. 29 tackles, 104m. A line break and 3 tackle breaks giving a nice boost to the score there.
Hmmmm now bench forwards never inspire me with much confidence. However for comparison Big Papi played 43 minutes and his output equated to 35 with his tendency to shoot out of the line and put on a shot leading to 4 missed tackles.
Korbin Sims returning wouldn't dent Lawrie's minutes too much I imagine. Besides with Korbin still like what 1 or 2 weeks away from coming back, Lawrie should see a substantial role next week and he'll have a low BE to coast off.
Now I must admit I think I'm just internally monologuing my thought process and posting it here instead of writing it up in Microsoft Word lol but hey if I've mounted a decent argument for anyone out there, well I'm glad this wasn't a total waste of my time lol

i've already got host, thinking of picking up lawrie too. one of them has got to stick around, maybe both at least in the short term depending on frizell

Got 167k in the bank as it stands.
I learnt a few years ago the value of keeping spare cash for dud removals. It was Nathan Green (I had to look it up to remember) who won the starting back-row spot at Manly but he sucked and was benched the next week while Paul Carter had stood out as a cash cow though not quite bottom priced.
I had spare cash, snapped him up and got rid of a dud. I save things for a rainy day.

I had Terepo most of last year and he ended up in my final squad. Without exception, seems to score a point per minute or there abouts. He was nice, but his price this year has meant I haven't considered him... even if it is probably solid value.
Very jealous and also fearful of all you chaps that are going to be able to bring Bateman in easily this week. Wish I had that sort of money/value to work with. More to the point, should have stuck with my gut on him in the first place.
Anyway, thanks to all the trading strategy tips in reply to this post;

I'm same as you, PYM - second year in and looking to rectify silly errors I made last year. Hopefully I can keep my 17 as is, but I had three dud emergencies I want to rectify sooner rather than later. I remember last year I started with L.Leilua and had him sitting at the bottom of my EMG for months, not playing or obviously earning any coin. Finally got rid of him towards the back end of the year and a few weeks later he was playing and scoring well, lol. Good times.

Worth a mention, but literally no one will go terepo over gillett and Bateman.

Great start league 2!
I opened up season with 899 couldn’t find that extra bit.
Only 9th best score in our league!!!
