    31k ITB

    Mccullough
    Fifita TPJ
    James Gillett Taumalolo
    Cleary Morgan
    Mautatia Bird
    Kahu Isaako Burns

    Murray Keighrahn D. Brown Nikora
    Ravalawa Sivo Flegler Sele

Isaako, James and Kahu are my players of concern. I was laways worried about Isaako at the price but thought Goal Kicking would be useful. Willing to let Kahu have a few more games and really upset with James 25 points

Edwards BE is 50 - he has only scored 50 or higher in 8 out of his last 22 games. Is he a trade? Mind you i brought him in with the expectation he would go above 50 a lot more than in the past. Has also never versed the knights.
I may be clutching at straws to get some cash in the vault but Knights looked really good last week

I have faith in him. I briefly thought about trading him, but I think he can come good.

Kahu wants to prove a point to his old club but what that point is anyone's guess.

Ravalawa is facing a tough team and playing the first game of the round. If he does shit all then your weekend starts on a wrong foot.

    Any thoughts?

Kahu wants to prove a point but basing your decision on a media hype-up piece is like picking a player because they've been training the house down.

Ravalawa can score well enough purely through tackle breaks but playing a winger, particularly if they're a rookie is always very risky.

The Cowboys are going to bring their A-game to the Broncos as usual so I think Kahu would be as heavily involved as he'll ever be. Whether you think that'll translate to a decent fantasy score is up to you.

So pretty much everything points to no trades this week. I don't really want Host (1 reason is that will only leave me with 48K and another is he could be benched or even out of the team by next week) and i can't afford anyone else.

Already have C Murray, Fifita, Gillett, TPJ, Taumalolo.

    Help would be great!
Rabs is selling him so I’d hold.

Would love to captain Cook tonight and start the week of with Cook hitting 150, Murray doing his part and racking up a nice 55, Burns scoring a try and setting up another for a 50 and Rava to hit 35 in my NPR's in a narrow loss.

Yeah, strongly considering. Lawrie looks like the better pick up, but Host keeps me a lovely bank. I doubt I’ll make a final decision till team lists.

Surely if you chose to start the season with Isaako (like me) You are ok with his 30, given the way that game went ?

For someone like me who only has 94K (i expected this to be more than enough before the season) Host/Sele/Mikaele is all i can afford.
Did you not end up starting with that big bank, or have you spent it already?

    Hey folks.

Any glaring problems with my team? I made one trade this week, Borris - Lawrie. $151K now.

    Friend
    Fifita (C) Vaughan
    Curry Gillett Radley
    A Reyno Keighran
    Nikora Capewell
    Tedesco Burns Hughes

    Tolman Lawrie Garner Bird

NPR: D. Brown, Mikaele, Sivo Burr

Prepared to give Radley another week and to be honest, was prepared to give Borris another go as well, but thought Lawrie was too good to pass up.

Can't get all the cash cows, but feel like it's a decent team?

Yep, Isaako was to be traded long term of course when I make more cash but happy enough with his score. Ryan JAmes is my real concern.

Was set on Twal + Kahu out for Bateman + Lawrie in, but with all the discussion around Lawrie / Host JS and potential money making versus what happens when Sims & Frizell return, I've changed the play to Twal + Radley out for Bateman + Mahoney in. Means I retain a back-up Hooker, but, play this week without FRF cover.
Current FRF are Fifi & Vaughn.

Is this a case of tempting fate against the Fantasy gods...

Yeah, Lawrie leaves me with 34K and Host leaves me with 90K (after a Radley to Bateman trade) so it has to play a part. 34K is really next to nothing, but 90K sometimes gives you the leeway to trade up a tier player.

I would consider trading out James for one of the following players: Luke Garner, Niukore, Bateman, Lawrie
and keep some cash ITB to bring in Teddy in round 3 or 4 once he has dropped in value to strengthen your WFB.

Sivo and Flegler could also be traded out for other cashcows

I have definitely. Great PPM and made 34 in base stats which is great, add a TB's and maybe some more metres and less errors and he could hit 40 quite easily. Also has some big wraps at the club as the next big thing. Only worry for me is how much longer can Madge keep Huth in reserve grade. Could quite possibly be working his minutes up also. I might have just talked myself into it.
