Agree mate. I was hoping Bird was trappy

Next week feels too late and was probably playing on your decision this week.

For cash he certainly was but points with some cash was Bateman.

Plus you likely have 6-7 CTR options already. Bird was always going to sit in the NPRs whereas Bateman may not make the same cash but will be in your team each and every wek. I regret not having him for sure but don't know if h'es worth grabbing this next week. You'd have to be very confident he goes 40 ish long term average or 35 with a big game or 2 to justify it. Always more cash cows just around the corner too. (Stimson, Xerri, Lomax, others that will crop up). Can't get em all

The day when a horrid fantasy performance, is still met with absolute cheer after an absolute monster real life first half

Bird's 40% ownership might kill a few people's ranks on here if he continues his form. Although he was on 21 in opening minutes and only got to 27

Yeah short of injury, you won't be regretting having him in your team this season. Down game today and still scored 48, at 54 average so far, he is going to outscore any other CTR by 10 over the season.

High workrate 80 minute lock, available at CTR for $600k can't go wrong.

Maybe this is wishful thinking for those who don't have him, but Bird could now be a Reverse POD option. I have Bateman, Nikora & Capewell to play in my Centres and believe each should score more than Bird each week. Leaving Bird out of the 17 and hope he doesn't hit 40+ like these 3 should is the best hope now.
