A little, admittedly, but no one is tougher than a concussion. If NRL players don't take it seriously neither will younger players. I definitely commended Matterson for taking such a long break. Studying psychology and neurology, working with car crash victims, it's just devastating getting a multiple traumatic brain injuries.

Having talked to James McManus about his, it’s horrific. His life has virtually been ruined by it. Constant headaches, long and short term memory loss, difficulty with basic cognitive tasks
As someone on the medical side of it they need to rethink the interchange around it as teams are almost encouraged to push the limits re players returning and disadvantaged when they don’t

What I meant is that it's not soley up to the player. The club, coaching staff and doctors are the ones to blame here.
