I've only got 34K and now that is gonna be short of a straight Morris to Bird trade. Filthy.

Oates is more lean this year which I think is promising. Upcoming games: Dragons (should go well), Roosters (tough battle, Oates probably gets involved through the middle), Tigers (50/50), Raiders (up against it imo), Sharks (50/50). Can see him scoring big next week but the next four high 30s.

The cheaper version of this is Katoa. Sharks are scoring on the right, 7 and 8 TBs so far and Dugan looks to have learned to pass since last week. Katoa could easily have had 4 tries this week.

Any tips lads. My WFB players are a bit of a disaster at the moment apart from CNK. I have Edwards, Ravalawa, Kahu and Sivo and about 130k in the bank. Any tips on a double trade next week to sort this garbage out. Burns definitely but what the, would appreciate your thoughts.

Quite annoying because I pinned him as a good starter for my team but got talked out of it (fully aware that was my decision). Probably pick him and CNK up this week and hope Friend plays

I started this week ranked in the 6000s, now ranked 1009 with 5 to play still. If my remaining players go well, expecting to hit top 100 scores for the round and top 100 overall. Going to be a fun afternoon

I commented this basically straight after he scored on Friday, but on reflection Bird is probably just a better option as he is about 250k cheaper (Bird around 391k next week, Oates around 646k next week) as with the left edge being dominant he is still going to get the majority of the TAs as it's usually based on last pass
With Oates being at that price Teddy is only like 60k more after another price drop if you don't have him
Yeah, very annoying how he was priced to start the season which was $100k overs. However, it's looking like Broncos are attacking up that edge, and Bird's form would suggest that they'll go well together... I'll weigh up an Oates trade in vs grabbing Katoa and CNK next week. Very skint on cashies this year

I'm playing Tolman Garner Mahoney Keighran and benching Brown, Sivo, and Holland. You something similar?

Yeah I have Edwards but had burns over CNK :/ I'm weighing up bringing in Oates, or CNK + Katoa. For you I'd grab Burns and just play Kahu for now. WFBs are shit this year. Basically Hughes and CNK look like the only reliable options.

Garner, Mahoney, Keighran, Brown, Holland, benched Sivo.
If they between them average their scores from last week I hit 960ish

Sitting at 568 overall, but only have 3 players on the field today. Best ever start of the season for me, the challenge now is to maintain the momentum

Why? Everyone else is just above average or over the hill. Who are the Warriors gun forwards? Mobile ones? Mannering’s gone. Gavet’s gone. Ah Mau isn’t exactly Artie Beetson. Tevega got a Dally M last year for best utility. I think he’s the only forward that looked like getting anything. He averages 37 tackles a game and 85 metres....off the bench. I’ve watched most of his first grade games. He looks a natural lock. He wants the spot. He’ll get it sooner rather than later I think. I’m not talking fantasy, although I have him, but just as a footy player. His scores will convert to fantasy though when he gets the minutes. I think he’ll eventually get 60 - 70 minutes. He’s one injury away. This is worth a read, for those that haven’t.

Harris is the best by far. Jazz is great though. Word is Luke might not play this week from the bench which means Warriors will bring Beale onto the bench which is great news for Jazz. Don't think there's anyone that could take minutes from him

I almost prefer being lower ranked. The pressure of being at the top. Wouldn't even know what to do if I was you. At least us plebs can afford to make risky calls

Garner, Keighran, Brown, Mahoney, Napa, RTS.
Will be stoked if your predictions come true. A 900+ After 884 round 1 will be a great start to the season
