you are basically using up 3 trades for 1 upgrade. I also see both your trades as sideways. Let them make money for you and sit tight on those trades.

those stats are nothing to sneeze at, Kahu is a horrid centre so i think i'll go ahead at make that switch

Just looking for any good advice for a shitty situation I find myself in. The end result is I need Bird in my team this week. Unfortunately this means I have to get rid of Burr, who I’d ideally prefer to keep for as long as he’s making money. But I accept Bird is more important both in terms of money making and scoring. So I’m at peace with it. The second trade out was to be Ravalawa but I needed Xerri to be named, or another $212k person of interest. Okunbor probably not worth the risk, is he?

Alternatively, I punt Host, for about $234k to spend, but those options are shit too. Is Sele gone when Kikau returns? Only other option I see is jumping on the shit train with fellow Garrick owners.

So I guess my question comes down to Okunbor, Sele or Garrick? Or one I’ve missed. What a horror selection.

Thanks for any guidance at all on this.

I have literally no idea what to make of Tolman following TLT. Dogs bench is now HOK, 2 2RF and one FRF but you would have to assume Martin plays significant minutes meaning Elliot will probably be part of prop rotation. Whether or not Tolman sees change in minutes nobody knows except Dean Pay

Might just give him 1 more week and reassess but boy is Surgess tempting (also gone up over 4% ownership since lockout)

He scored 11 and 23 with a try the last two weeks. Might be worth a weeks look first

Motherfucker.  Need Bird but 6K short of Morris to Bird.  Was hoping Rava or Sivo got dropped so I could trade them to maybe Xerri (gulp) but now it's not worth it.  Seems stupid leaving Morris there and trading Holland to Bird instead.  Kind of wanted to show some faith in Holland. (Don't ask me why)

yeh nevermind, found the scroller, are they accurate though? i find it a little hard to believe that the entire rest of the backline made over 10 tackles and he apparently didn't lay so much as a finger on any opposing player?

Edit: something definately has to be up with his stats, so far through 2 games he's down for a combined total of 0 tackles and 2 missed? surely not...

    Bump:

Anyone else running with no HOK coverage?

    Thinking of:
    Kahu > Tedesco &
    Macca > Bird

Means I’ve only got Mahoney at hooker which feels risky...but otherwise my team looks a lot better.

Anyone else getting Teddy this week, or holding off until at least next week with his BE?

That was a disappointing TLT. Nothing much useful, so plan B, Bird comes in for Holland. Expecting there to be some gamesmanship this week and some late changes in some teams just before the game.

He was run around twice for 2 tries to the opposition.

This is the now the regret around starting a cheap half. I'll go with Brown simply because his low score so far is 30, where as Keighran did nothing at all last week. Worry with Brown is his opposition this week though..

Admittedly having to play one basement price half allowed money spent elsewhere.

I might not be running a cheap half in the team, but I am running Lawrie as a cheap FRF alongside Fifita. Also mot ideal, but he seems to be consistent at least.
You could always add Clifford to the roulette Razz

Anyone bringing in Clifford this first round or wait and see? Think I’m just going to do a Kahu to bird trade and bank another trade

With Rava swapping edges to Lafai's edge, who seems to see all the ball, he will keep a spot in my side this week. I think Holland eventually comes good, whether its at 40-45 (what i expected) him to get or 35-40, he is a sell at the moment to Bird. Think ill bank the cash this week and hope Sivo or Rava can start some more cash gen. Sele is staying in the reserves and hope he sees more minutes this week. Edwards due for a big one and so are the Panthers.

Wanted Twal and Bird but literally a few k short of dumping Radley and Tatola for them in one swing

Do I Go Twal and Lawrie instead? Or just get Bird (highest projected price jump) in and wait for next week to grab Twal?
