Only a small point Chewie but you should use up your VC slot once you are certain your C will play - so once team lists for the Sharks game is finalised. That way, if something unfortunate were to happen to Arrow, you would be able to reshuffle your team. If he was locked in as VC, you wouldn't. VC doesn't matter once your C has played.

It doesn't matter too much because the Gold Coast game is last this weekend. I've been burned by failing to set this properly before though.

Kinda thinking I want to go Bmoz --> Burns but don't have enough and would have to make a second trade in which I do not know who to take out unfortunately. Alternatively I wouldn't mind getting CNK but from memory he is more then burns anyway so would prefer Burns.

Yeah, I fucked up the explanation. It applies more if your captain is playing in one of the games early on in the round.

Yeah true.  If I have my captain in the first game I always put the VC on someone else in the same game, no matter who it is.

The other area people don't look after is putting the players who play in the later games in the 14-17 slots. Get the 1-13 slots used with the earlier players.
