Week 1 he looked awesome. Wondering if he is playing injured as the team needs him with so many others out.

Maybe his tackle count did. He did have 1 or 2 decent runs getting quick plays but he was gassed by the second half. Pretty much was a speed bump lol

I'm trying to decide wether he or Smith comes in. Need the money for next weeks changes I reckon.
I'm short for Hooker coverage so leaning towards Smith and hoping he grabs a try against the Raiders to kick start some money

Some decent Hooker cover options worth looking at:
Mahoney - doing what owners hoped he would do, and targeting an 80 minute role. Already getting 68 minutes, so not far off it.
B Smith - PPM of 1 with no Tries or Try Assists
Peats - Getting 80 minutes each week, averaging 50 with no attacking stats yet
Hampton - Averaged 48 in 80 minutes at center last season, was very consistent

I would like to see the community team look at dumping Macca for one of these options that has a chance of going somewhere and represent much better value.

Have had him in my squad since last week. Playing lock essentially. Scoring better there than he does at hooker. Still gets a decent tackle count, but is running the ball too. Just needs a few nice attacking stats in 40 minutes a game to explode, on top of his nice base.

I could get Mahoney but I think for 170k less Smith offers more.
And if Poppa Smith goes down then wowee

Because he's not a lock. He'll be fine once he gets back to an edge. Can you afford to hold him that long though.

I didn't pick him up purely because I watched that first game. It was tempting off the back of that big score but ultimately unsustainable. I rate him as a player, but Siebold needs to realise he's not getting the best out of him playing big middle minutes

With it seeming like Macca is starting to slow down in his career is anyone considering trading him for Crichton 2 or 3 weeks down the line? Most people will be able to target teddy in the coming weeks but will probably not have enough cash to grab both. Probably too early to tell but it's food for thought none the less study

Just noticed with someone on Reddit pointing out, lomax should have to start somewhere in the 13 because he is the much better GK with lafai being their only other option. Might be a further reason to drop ravalawa or could see lomax at FB ahead of Dufty (unlikely with Mary's comments after game)

In most teams you need to trade him to a hooker to have back up available. Easiest position to get caught out in with no cover as we saw with Friend. So more likely a lower cost hooker comes in to free up cash to bring in a fallen gun.

Yeah I'm disappointed that he's not getting the 55s I pencilled him in at but I'll take his 45+ each week rather than have the cash wasted in my bank earning 0 points. I'll probably look to upgrade him last though. Halves and WFB seem to be the annoying position atm. I think I've sorted WFB for now. Will address halves next week. Then luxury trades Cool

There's no way he plays Lomax over Dufty if he's willing to screw his spine mid-game to keep him in the team. What are Hunt and Norman's kicking stats like? Maybe Lawrie is an undercover GKer?

If Teddy and Crichton both score sub 50 I'm every chance to grab them both next week. Would need 30's from Kahu and Capewell with 562k ITB.

Lawrie is no jai arrow, taking kick-offs in games and shooting field goals from 40m in training

Macca is the only player I have in HOK so I'm in a spot of bother lol

I think a sideways-ish trade might be in order next week to Mahoney if he proves against the Roosters that he can keep up similar scores.

Munster needs attacking stats. I thought he'd get them but stats guys aren't watching.

Farah: averaging 65 without tries, plays rd 13, won't play origin

Edit: was looking at the wrong bye team
