Bloody hell. Really trying to avoid the Softcock aren’t you?SI wrote:
Same here, and I won't lie, it has affected my general outlook on life. And then I find out that Honeysett is ranked 300 odd, it's like, really? Honeysett. 300 odd?
Bloke's Fantasy team is like an elephant on the ceiling though, you just know it's gonna come crashing down in a big way any second.

I hope you noticed my brown and green comment you desert dweller.SI wrote:
It's been a really up and down night for me hasn't it! I sucked up to the bloke who lives on the other side of the country to get brownie points from him over Filth, but hammered the guy who lives a few suburbs across and could come over and belt me.
Good to know.SI wrote:

Well done, who are your problem players?
You would have that attitude having never lived somewhere that’s green like you’ve never seen.SI wrote:I did notice said comment. I didn't acknowledge it formally, but I did note it's presence. Even that was more then it deserved.

Thinking about trading Keighran out. I am aware how fucking stupid that sounds and that he has a breakeven of 3. But it is the only feasible way I can get Burns into my team, and I am stuck with Kahu at 3rd WFB otherwise. I actually think Keighran's first score was the famous first-game-rookie adrenaline rush we see often, and Green is far too dominant a play maker this year. My gut has him pegged for regular 20s and maybe a 30-40k price rise at best unless he finds the stripe. I would love anybody with a strong opinion to the contrary to put their case forward. I can trade him to Burns who I think will make more money and provide close enough to keeper scores in the backline for the time being, and then additionally save a trade for this round. My only other options for Kahu>Burns would be to
A) trade Tolman to Napa
or
B) Burr (my current 4th reserve) to a Waddell-kind of nobody who I would then have to play.
Neither of those options particularly appeals to me and would cost me two trades to do. My other cashies (Sivo, Brown, Ravalawa) are all making megabucks anyway, so the lost cash if I fuck this huge call up is not the biggest issue for me (though the embarrassment of selling him if he comes out with a 50 point game might).
Any thoughts appreciated
Tl;dr- Keighran>Burns ; I am an idiot.

turning kahu into burns tomorrow, and then gillett out next week
halves are skinny with just morgan, brown and keighran but oh well
how about you?

Not completely stupid, Burns should run rampant on the Titans edges

I am turning Gillette into Rein and the worst of my emergencies into Sivo ( maybe ). I have the same halves as you.
Morgan is a bit of a worry with that dodgy shoulder from what I saw in the Cowboys last game. Keighran should be up for a solid performance
in Christchurch after his below par second round. Good luck with your transfers.
For what it's worth, i would make the trade.Pookus McFly wrote:
I agree, he is set for a big game. I think having Burns this week rather than Kahu playing in my 17 is far more important to me than Keighran who is outside my 17 anyway. It's now or never for Burns too.
And if Keighran finds another 13 point game I think most people will be getting ready to sell him anyway.
Thanks for you input Alfie, much appreciated mate
