NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 24

Are we really worried about Lane? He had a stinker yeah but so do most great fantasy players every now and then. Mahoney on the other hand showed his true colours and pretty much reinforced what everyone has been predicting for the last few weeks.

Started the week in 86th,now down to 1668th after a dismal 6/238 was thinking of trading Morgan to Rein but didn’t have the balls to play Sivo. Might be trade raging next week but I have no cash to play with unfortunately

The Rein news making me temporarily forget about bringing in Mahoney.

Hopefully we know more about Peats injury by tomorrow

I think lane relys on attacking stats to much I don't have him but I'm keeping an eye on twal this week. For 50k people can get Crichton in what seems like a steal

Mahoney to Rein and Lane to Crichton is extremely tempting though I agree

Did you look at other players too? Supercoach has always been a harder marker on tackles across the board

Mahoney got an extra 5 tackles
Crichton got an extra 7
Alvaro got an extra 7
Mannah got an extra 8

They seemed to agree on Niukore, NRL onyl gave him 1 extra tackle.

Gillett to Crichton also seems to have fallen into place for next week

Lame is dead to me. Doesn’t fill me with joy watching him. Stands 2m away from tackles happening and watches rather getting his flop on

Best laid plans and all that but here is my plan atm:

Got rein this week, 24k ITB

Next week: Tedesco will be (roughly) 722 Bateman 718 Crichton will be 655
My team: McCullough 715 Friend 753 Lane 630

Trades: Friend to Bateman = 55 itb Lane to Crichton = 30 itb

Round 5:
Mahoney to cow = roughly 330 itb
Lawrie to Ponga (if fb), Pearce or Tedesco

Thoughts?

Cue more mass injuries (friend has me depressed)

What's Crichton break even next week might be better off getting Teddy and Bateman first

I think I might be bang on the money to afford Mahoney + Lane to Rein + Bateman if Rein gets 47 or less. If Rein doesn't rise in price, I can get rid of Whitehead instead of Mahoney (should have made move before game, Whitehead had an absolute shocking game)

Already have Tedesco, so happy about that. Although I have had to endure his poor scores in first 2 rounds but now he has 49 average - so a couple of 50+ scores will bump him up to his expected scores

I have a cunning plan to get Sivo's score into my 17 & also setting myself up to get Bateman & Tedesco next week. I'm thinking Edwards to a 212k nuffie which will get me Sivo's a.e. 73 (a fluke putting Sivo before Ravalawa in my emg's) & it will leave me with 687k bank to get Bateman & Tedesco next week. Sound good.

Few interesting points overnight to touch on

Bateman is an absolute freak. Topping the tackle count from the edge to go along with some monster runs. This score will price him around 46, I suspect his long term average will be somewhere between 45-50 so he is probably one that got away for me until his price settles down and some cows mature. He isn't going to have 2 LBs 10 Tbs and 200 metres every week.

Klemmer with another 50+ almost purely in base stats. If he wasn't an origin lock would be worth considering for the tricky FRF position.

Mahoney looks done as a cow and I'll be moving him for Teddy.

On Teddy I knew I was playing with fire and testing the fantasy gods but thought I could sneak one more low score out of him.

Crichton very close to a trade in aswell. Like Teddy he can explode and score an 80 any time while having a solid base. Run metres are a little down on career averages and he looks slightly under done fitness wise. Can probably wait 1 more week before making this move

I had a trade of Taumalolo/Edwards to Bateman/Friend last night but decided against it at the last minute and instead did Arrow/Rein. Also I played Sivo into the starting WFB for whatever reason instead of Garrick.

Oh well sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't what can you do eh

Halfway through the round and im already planing next weeks trades. At this rate im gonna be out of trades by the end of origin.

Happy that Sivo and Rava are on there way to making some cash

Any advice for what to do with Friend? Just a freak injury?

I have some monster scores but too many nuffies to balance it out. The best a man can get is going and I need a better bench.

Did anyone get Sivo's score ? All the teams I've checked have him as EMG. At least you still get the $$$
