Rein averages 43 playing 50-70 minutes at hooker. People are unnecessarily worrying about having Brimson on the bench.

Unless you think Brimson will play big minutes with Roberts playing a lot of time at hooker, then Rein is still a fine bet.

Both have potential to go big. Bateman seems to have a higher floor atm, but that's from a small sample size.
There's nothing wrong with arrows mins, tackles, or run meters. He's just lacking in attacking stats. And for some reason he seems to miss a bunch of tackles when he plays the bunnies. (6 MTs this year, 4 MTs last year)
I'm holding Arrow because I know he'll come good, and I have Bateman already

See I am concerned about this. All the talk about Edwards playing in the rain recently. The exact same thing happened with Tedesco. But if I downgrade Edwards I have almost $300k in my war chest to get Tedesco, Ponga and Crichton in coming weeks.

You guys convinced me to join the carty party against my intuition. He seems to have more upside than CHT and Salmon. Worse case I'll just burn a trade. With the way CNK is playing at the moment, he's turning out to be a keeper. At this rate, ideal back 3 would be Teddy, Turbo and CNK with DCE/Reynolds and Ponga in my halves.

Im still umming if i should bring in Xerri this week, HOPING he does well or bring in Teddy when he's cheap

As i have other fires this week Edwards gets one more week. Grounds should be a little dewy but overall clear weather, about 19 degrees and 80% humidity for the game. Not a single member of the Panfers back line has scored over the first three rounds with all tries coming from their forwards. This is something they will want to change this week. With Billy Kikau back in the team i expect Spirits to be high and Edwards to be floating around Cleary's edge all night. Edwards v Gillett for me this week, whoever scores 50+ stays (if both of them then i'm fucked). I still feel i can get Tedesco, Ponga, Crichton in the next 2-3 weeks if i keep Edwards this week. Tedesco next week as I dont think he will go guns blazing against a Broncos side looking to stamp down their defence. Also 50% chance of rain at the SCG tomorrow night during the game. I also believe Ponga and Crichton can wait another 2 weeks i believe, (if Crichton goes 50 avg over 2 weeks you can get him for his current price, if 55 he will be 15K more expensive in 2 weeks).

Carty is definitely a confidence player. The show of confidence from Brennan to start him and give him 80 minutes and performing well, will have done him the world of good after the last 3 years he has had before that. He just needs to build from here to get back to his best.

I need to buy a WFB as I have no cover after I sold Kahu last week. So my options are

    1) Dugan or Gutherson

    2) sell Mahoney or Lane to get Tedesco.

by taking option 1, I'll will have to upgrade either of them later on.

By taking option option 2, I am potentially missing out on any cash from either of these.

    Any thoughts on this?

Edit: After writing down my thoughts option 2 is definitely better so the question now is whether to sell Mahoney or Lane.

I'd easily sell Mahoney before Lane.

With my options, trading Macca also was an option for me but it's probably not worth it when I have so many holes to fill.  For you, Friend definitely has to go.  Depends on the makup of your team, both good options but would you be low on hookers if you traded both Friend and Macca?  B looks more sensible I guess.

I agree friend should go. 2 weeks out and still risk around him going forward.

    Team is

    Macca
    Tolman Fifita
    Murray Arrow Lane
    Morgan Keighran
    Capewell Nikora
    CNK Hughes Burns

    Friend Garner Mahoney Rein

    Lawrie Host Brown Rava

So would still leave me with 2 hookers but i'd be looking to move mahoney soon too. This perhaps means missing bateman is the smarter option and keeping macca for now? With the goal to cash out on some cows to generate money for perhaps him to cook

1/4 for acceptable scored for the money in playing. Looks injured still or disinterested and I don't like the rotation that's happening. Too much unknown for too much money

Now I'm thinking waiting on Xerri and go Mahoney to Rein. Mahoney BE of 35 means he's pretty much peaked unless he can jag another try.

    I beg to differ.

Scored 46 in 55 minutes against the Raiders - This was semi acceptable as Titan were but raped and kept to nil.
Score of 81 in 70 minutes - Banged it out of the park, was best on ground and robbed of a LB i believe.
Score of 29 in 57 minutes - I believe this game can be discounted as an outlier as he looked to have got hurt and starting missing tackles for fun and looked to be hooked towards the end of the game.

Arrow is still averaging 52 for the year and with Taylor and Roberts back should be oozing confidence after a close showing with the Rabbits and against a reeling Warriors squad. He will still average over 55 for the year IMO and has a pretty big ceiling. Expect 29 to be his lowest score all year barring injury

I've gone full circle. From he's a possible trade, to captain, to trade again. I think I'm trading him. I would love to see the Titans final team list to confirm Cartwright starting before the Broncos play, because if Cartwright was a late switch to bench I'd trade Macca instead of Arrow. But since that's impossible, I'm taking the punt that the Titans run out as named meaning James in the middle which will affect Arrow. Could be a dud trade but if I'm right, I'm cutting the shit earlier than everyone else.

The shuffling in the Titans pack is putting me off Cartwright. Fotuaika appears to be back this week, at the expense of Max King (who I don't recall doing alot wrong so far). Does James stay at prop now long term? Not sure.. Titans have an abundance of ~decent~ middles, and Cartwright could be 5 missed tackles against some fired up warriors boys away from going straight back to the bench.

Was just looking at what could have been if I didn't do Host to Lawrie last week (-7 points) and did Whitehead to Rein before this week (+32 points)

I would have been 1k off Mahoney + Lane to Bateman + Ponga - that would have been utterly devastating and I probably would have had a swear-laden rant
