Broncos forum (angry Broncos forum) all seem to want Bird at fullback. Boyd and Macca the main whipping boys, with some hate for KNik and Isaako too.

Looped Bird but with 32 might roll the dice and play Rava instead.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 27
I’ll have a crack at couch coach.
1. Milford - best fullback in the squad by far. Get him back there
2. Oates
3. Roberts - Glenn can have a run here when injured
4. Staggs - In this ordinary side they need to find a permament place for him. Close to their best
5. Isaako - don’t think the kids head should be called for yet. Their next fullback
6. Bird - because you could do no worse
7. O’Sullivan - time to let someone else have a go at calling the shots
8. Haas - fuck it. Give a young guy a go
9. Macca - work your arse off, you’ve got 60mins max
10. Lodge - big grub but goes good
11. Fifita - don’t muck around. All best young talent on the park
12. Gillett
13. Ofa - like to see him given a go in the workhorse middle role
14. Nikorima - 20mins max all dummy half last 10 of each half
15. TPJ
16. Flegler
17. Fensom - when more tackles are needed. Like every game for them it seems
Boyd must go
Macca is a grinder and needs a 14 with spark
TPJ needs to be limited to impact.
Su’A and Glenn are just bang average

Guys just a quick one about the party next weekend.
Is there a chance Will Matthews is going to crash it?

Not if Carty is playing well. Brennan clearly wants to give him every opportunity to prove he is up for 80 minute edge each week.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 27
Which of these 2 players would you take
Player A) 340k - Filling in on edge due to injury. Little to no fantasy history, 6 games at an average of 27 points in 36 minutes. One start for 24 points in 48 minutes
Player B) 335k - Starting spot based on merit. 3 seasons of fantasy history. Historical average in position 49.6 points.
Player A is Round 1 Luke Garner. Player B is round 4 Bryce Cartwright. If Garner was such a no brainer fantasy pick(that I missed) why is there so much hesitation on Cartwright

Doesnt look like we'll know if McIllwrick is in the 17 before Rein locks out.

People don't like it because it looked ugly, maybe paperweights shouldn't run to the line at brick shit-houses then cry foul when they hit them then...
Agreed. The ball hardly got to its recipient.

CONFIRMATION BIAS!! Not like you MS
Who are these players...
Last 4 x 80min appearances
A) 22 missed tackles
B) 17 missed tackles
B is the worst tackler in the game James Maloney
You know who A is...

It can't be Darius because you have to attempt to tackle to miss

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 27
It's actually recency bias. People are ignoring a strong history of scoring in his position because last year he had some poor scores (often with a different role)
People did it with Jack Bird as well. Everyone ignored his strong history of scoring well at centre because of a couple of poor games last year.

Set him up for loop in but going to pass and roll dice with Mahoney Capewell Garner Lawrie unless people think they going to score under 32

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 27
Final thoughts on which of these trades is better - essentially Mahoney + Cartwright vs Lane + CHT
(1) Burns + Lane to Bateman + Cartwright (Cartwright 2nd HLF)
(2) Mahoney + Keighran to Bateman + CHT (CHT 2nd HLF)
Think I might have ruled out the playing with 16 option due to extended length of Burns injury even though it means getting better cash generation and 2 potential keepers in Bateman and Ponga earlier
Team before trades:
Cook
Fifita Tolman
Arrow Murray Lane
Morgan Keighran
Bird Nikora
Tedesco CNK Sivo
Mahoney Whitehead Garner Lawrie
Brown Garrick Ravalawa Burns

Bird is averaging 43....with very suspect ghost points. He’s still, in my opinion, a very average centre.
Nikora, who was $70k less, is averaging 56. Bateman, who we had no NRL history with, is averaging 63. I know who I’d prefer in my centres.
