We doing an over/under avatar bet on the Carty Party's missed tackle count tonight? I want to take the overs.

So do you think "out indefinitely" means they are still determining how long he will be suspended?

Not sure suspension is the right word. He's a bloke who's had a troubled past and a history of alcohol issues. There might be more to the story, but on the face of it, it seems more like they'd be concerned with his mental state first and foremost.

Who says it was the drink? The kid has battled demons for years and had an addiction to sleeping pills or something, didn't he?

    Hope he's OK whatever happened.

Even though I hate the broncos, and they have a shitty history of protecting people I.e lodge. but if Roberts has an issue(s) drug, grog, sex mental or what ever. It should always be dealt with behind closed doors unless it’s in the public interest. I.e someone other then him gets hurt. Looks like broncos might be doing that.

The picture could be from any time, why are people assuming it's recent?

I feel ya mate...Some people are just fuck-witts.

I've got a similar story... I had just parked my car on a hill in the wet in Dunedin in a student area and was walking to work when I noticed a woman about to try and parallel park into a space that had been taken up in part by a couple rubbish bags, one of which had split open. So I thought I'd do a good deed and dragged the main bag out of the way and onto the pavement, and then gave the broken one a bit of a kick to move that a bit too. Didnt move it all the way off the road cause I didnt wanna pick up some students rubbish, but enough for her to park.

This woman gets out of her car, sarcastically says 'thanks very much' and proceeds by giving me shit for not moving the second bag completely. Here I was, going out of my way to pick up someone else's crap in the rain to help this lady, only to get an earful. I somewhat regret my response but its fair to say she copped it back 10 fold. Stupid woman, Im still pissed writing this almost a year later.

You’re from Dunedin mate? I used to play an amateur golf tournament there for a few years at Taieri, just over the hill, called the Taieri Classic. It’s probably still going today. I may go back again soon. Great little course and town. They used to pay me and a few other amateurs from Aus $100 in an envelope each day, provide accomodation with a local member and a caddie. I had a brilliant time there. The weather is nuts, even in a Summer. The people are cool as you’ll get. They would never let me buy a beer or have a shout, but I’d always end up pissed. I caught some nice trout in the river near there. A playing partner, who is a great mate now and lives here, showed me around the place. We used to travel on a bus from Dunedin and play all the courses from there to Queenstown. Great place.

Hes had real long hair except for this year, where he trimmed it shorter and has that horrible looking rats tail at the back.

mark me in the "as long as he didn't do anything illegal in the process of getting himself fucked up, who gives a shit?" camp, there's obviously some personal shit there he needs some serious help to take care of though, considering his past.

Being able to see the Warriors and Blues on the same ticket is a great initiative I reckon. I wish I still lived there, even with both teams being below average it'd be cool
