    Just to add some perspective to Carty’s 29 (30 always looks so much better), his points return per dollar is virtually the same as Rein’s 44, and he is considered by many as buy of the week. They obviously are both below par but I think expectations of getting 40-50 each week from players worth $335k is a bit rough.

    He returned more points per dollar than Jai Arrow and scored the same as Luke Garner’s (albeit underwhelming and interchange affected) 29 at $150k less. I’d take 2 Carty’s if I could. His kids can’t play with my kids though.

    I will hopefully be able to put him in the EMG’s next week or shortly thereafter, but as a temporary stop gap half who may make some money I think he was a low risk option at the time. I have far bigger problems in my team than Carty.
