TPJ has probably got to go. No real point in holding him for two weeks when I need a half and/or fullback. Still have fkn Edwards as well. And Burns, but owning Burns affords me to do that naughty thing with those crappy cashie wfbs

Just because they scored 50s this week doesn't mean they will next week. I'd at least hold Mahoney because despite being questionable, he's turned up every round

No, but we love a but of recency bias. If hes going to get the full 80 now then he has a chance to keep scoring well (or miss more tackles).

Haha very true. They're definitely not urgent outs unless you need to upgrade

What’s the go with Lawrie and Garner? Looks like both are quality players, minutes a concern although decent ppm for Lawrie. Haven’t both scored a meat pie or two? I know people around here love getting selective about the points they pay attention too. Are there scores likely to improve beyond he 35-45 range? They starting to look more like players that should be on the emg and not in the 17 of they aren’t.

    Any thoughts on these trades:

Keighran + Brown OUT > Wighton + Okunbur

For context I'm playing Rava and Edwards in my WFB so need to fix that up. Getting Ponga or Tedesco means giving up Macca but I've got 4 injured players atm. I'm really fucked

Anyone keen on man sauce now he’s bottomed out? No pies yet or line breaks but came back to form with some TBs and offloads at the weekend, and plays 12

Garner can play 80 and scores well when he does. There have been a couple of injury scares but he's definitely worthy of a bench spot. Lawrie is a plodder, but a cheap one so he's making cash. Korbin Sims is out so he should start getting 40s. He's my starting FRF with Napa out now lol

I'm not having a go at anyone because if I did I would be a hypocrit but you summed up what I was thinking SI. After a hard night caring for my dementia ridden father what relaxes me is catching up with the 20-30 pages from the previous day but lately there's all these arguments going on & I don't like it at all. I want to see good humour, jokes, people posting how well they're are doing. people discussing emerging players or fallen guns. I don't want to read anything negative because it depresses me because this is the only forum I know that doesn't cross the line re arguing/insults/negativity but lately it has.

To me they are both cash cows - when their BE starts to get up near their average - i'll be shifting them on, either for a gun or another cash cow. Whether they are in your EMG depends on your team make up. I doubt anyone has 17 Guns just yet so we're all playing a few cash cows each week

Leaves me $300k to trade up to Ponga Bateman or Tedesco next week.

Ponga plays Manly this week so could be up for a big score. His BE is 51 so he's about bottomed out if you want him now. I'm leaning towards A because I think if Edwards stays in the team he'll have a cracker this round, so it makes sense to upgrade him rather than risk him on a cow

I'd be fixing that weak spot (Rava) in your team and going option 1. You'll always be able to find cash next week to make further upgrades.

Got a few negatives in there. Still a hold, but BE is up around the average so likely look to move on the next pun in the coming weeks

Yeah, Im glad I held Mahoney. Just like Tolman, when a change of role looked possible it felt like it was worth giving him another crack. Now Mahoney being an 80 min hooker, and Tolman being a 74 minute prop Wink they both seem like much longer term options than they did a week or so ago.

The injuries kinda limit your options this week. Wighton is an interesting POD and Okunbur seems the flavour of the week.

I guess injuries force you to make those trades?

I think I like Rapana at a similar price. Just seems to get more involved.

Lawrie reminds me of if Nathan Brown forgot to take his pre-workout. Same body frame, tackles his arse off but doesn't have that explosiveness.

Yeah mate I noticed that yesterday & thought they'll correct it of course but it didn't happen. Maybe email fanhub & get them to correct it although based on previous efforts by people it usually falls on flat ears.

I was just about to post Rapana. I'm looking at him. My team just isn't performing, after scoring 808 sitting just inside the top 7000. Rip I was going to go with my gut on a lot of things this season, but my gut is obviously not working. Any opinions would be much appreciated.

    Macca
    FIfi Taupau
    Murray Arrow Bateman
    Morgan Carty
    Bird Nikora
    Sivo CNK Edwards

    Rein Garner Capewell Lawrie

    Rava Keighan Burns Morris

120K. Not sure if I just double cow. I'm also just maybe looking towards round 12 and take a punt on Rapana or someone. Surely Edwards can do a Holland at some stage and lift. Could also this week spend the money on cow and upgrade Macca to Cook.
