    knowing this team for the past couple of years, after last week's performance, we'll prolly look like world-beaters for 60 minutes, then average for the next 20 in which the Tigers will score a couple/few to make the score-line not look like it was a blow-out. Regardless, the media will then start to run the whole 'Brisbane are back' narrative to pump our tires long enough for Sunday to roll around, then the Raiders paste us all over Canberra Stadium, with the usual suspects putting in their usual half-hearted shit, and thus the knifes come out all over again.

    ...or we've started a new cycle where we just play like arse all the time now and Boyd forevermore collects paychecks while 'defending' at fullback with his zimmer frame, who the fuck knows...

    excited to see how Carrigan goes though, has giant wraps on him, he's the main reason we weren't pressured into matching the Titan's blank cheque on Arrow.

    come to think of it though, i forgot about Haas returning in terms of fantasy, given how Siebs was talking in the press conference like his return was the answers to some of our problem there's a temptation to bring him straight in at 231k, kid's a giant energizer bunny that will rack up stats, but then i'll most likely hold off until I see his minutes.

    Getting Klemmer means I don't have to play Lawrie every week, plus he has a lower BE

    Getting Ponga means I don't have to play one of the CTW cheapies every week but he has a BE of 72 so he can probably wait a week

    Could also go for Fonua-Blake or Moses instead of Klem or Ponga by the way

    Ponga BE 72? Old mate reckons 50

    Well that was depressing. 777 and dropped over 3000 spots to outside the top 4000. Back to suicide for 'ol Gil

    Ended the week on 881. Pretty happy tbh.

    Early to be committing to this weeks trades but so far Bird and AK out. Bateman and Okunbor in

    I wanted to hold off on Trading out Bird hoping that he would earn some good money and im sure he still will but every week i wait hes losing out on points to Bateman who is pretty much making the same money.

    With Okunbor im just looking to cash in on his -21 breakeven. Even if he scores 30's the next few weeks he will still make enough that i can upgrade to Burns when he comes back and if he kills it i can just find another way to bring Burns back. Prob Lawrie or Host.

    Team looking forward

    (C)ook
    Surgess, Tolman
    Arrow, Gillett, Murray
    Morgan, CHT
    Bateman, Nikora
    Ravalawa, CNK, Sivo

    Farah, Mahoney, Rein, D.Brown
    Garner, Lawrie, Host, Okunbor

    Keeping Brown over Keighran because Eels play the last game of every round for the next 4 weeks so will be handy as a looping tool. Also im not building up my wfb line yet. Gotta roll the dice somewhere. Gonna Pass on Haas till i see how he plays.

    Yeah Macca for me is a real problem because while 45 a week ain't bad, that's not what you want out of your main HOK. The problem is there's always going to be bigger problems than a player scoring 45 every week so you never seem to get the opportunity to upgrade him.

    He'll be sticking around for the foreseeable future with me.

    Similar here. I'll upgrade him to Cook or Smith when i get the chance, but might not be straight away.

    At this stage I am most likely looking at Burns/Ponga, that plugs my weakest spot on my team and I can leave Sivo/Rava in my NPRs to make money and not rely on them for my scores. Since Ponga can cover my halves as well I will probably trade Brown to a cashie, I am guessing Okunbor is the best option.

    Still not having a go is the biggest cardinal sin in Rugby League. Drop him, make Gillett or Glenn captain and try something different.

    I honestly think the knights have the best fans in the league. If you have a crack we'll put up with you being terrible at times.

    Daria custard heart Boyd is the only knights player I've ever seen booed by the entire stadium as one

    We'd watch him run through brick walls for QLD then come back and not take a single hit up for us. I despise him

    He was already 2RF/CTR to start the season

    Fanhub doesn't allow triple position players because hypothetically people could be relying on having him in one of his predetermined positions so if it was taken away and replaced with WFB it wouldn't work (in reality not many people would have him in their starting team)

    And even if Okunbur was going to get WFB (he isn't) the next DPP update is on 24th April, so 2 more weeks.

    I'm going Garrick and Brown out for Ponga & CHT

    Missing the Bateman boat has killed me this season - I look at my team and it really doesn't seem too bad, but I've lost ground every week to be sitting at mid-5000s

    Question time...

    Host -> 228k Rookie
    D. Edwards -> Ponga

    Host -> Okunbur
    D. Edwards -> Chanel (Play Rava)

    Leaves me $300k to trade up to Ponga Bateman or Tedesco next week.

    Mahoney and Niukore were the two most likely to go for me, but then they both dug deep and returned 50s.

    TPJ has probably got to go. No real point in holding him for two weeks when I need a half and/or fullback. Still have fkn Edwards as well. And Burns, but owning Burns affords me to do that naughty thing with those crappy cashie wfbs

    I'll answer my own question lol

    "Concern per video for Dylan Napa is R syndesmosis injury (high ankle sprain) as foot gets caught and rolls out here. Mechanism can stress MCL in knee too but would think less likely. If confirmed recovery time can be anywhere from 2-4wks (Gr1) to 8-12wks (Gr3) #NRLStormBulldogs https://t.co/IuajtFnc9o"

    I've got 4 injuries and 1 not selected... Yayyyy Laughing

    From the lofty heights of 26th on Saturday when all but 1 of my players had played to finish the week in 833rd. Still top 1000 so I'm happy,with a moderate score of 849
