Lane and Keighran/Brown to Ponga and Okunbor this week I think.

    McCullough
    Fifita, Taupau
    Bateman, Arrow, Murray
    Morgan, CHT
    Nikora, Bird
    Tedesco, Ponga, CNK

    Mahoney, Garner, Lawrie, Okunbor
    Host, Ravalawa, Garrick, Keighran/Brown

Bench is a little weaker with these trades but my 13 is improved ten fold with Ponga in for Garrick.

Really have to focus on getting players like Rein and Crichton in somehow, along with a better half, also need to get rid of Macca but that is proving impossible at the moment.

Not a fan of playing Sivo/Rava in my WFB or Carty at half but oh well.

    Great stuff mate!

    883 from 17 - jumped 2000 spots.

    Tentative trades this week

    Brown to Ponga
    Lane to Tedesco

No more relying Sivo and Ravalava at WFB

Esan Marsters was awarded -2 points in goal kicking this week.

I know he missed a couple of sitters but taking points away is a bit harsh

I noticed at one stage Reynolds was on -2 for MISSING a goal also. Then he got his second, and it went to 0.
There's no mention of negative points for a missed goal attempt unless they count it as an error  scratch

928 for the week, rocketed up from 3280 to 753.

Sometimes your POD's don't fire like Holland in the first 2 weeks but other times they do like Moses and Tolman adding some handy scores. Captain Fifi also coming through for me.

    Sele Kahu Allan Brown

Starting side is really solid in every position, plus has both Rein and Mahoney as 80 min great value hookers on the bench, already has CHT.

Going to be hard to catch.

And yet he will still be ranked ~40s next week, and some other schmuck with a slightly different great team will be in first place instead.

Yeah Macca for me is a real problem because while 45 a week ain't bad, that's not what you want out of your main HOK. The problem is there's always going to be bigger problems than a player scoring 45 every week so you never seem to get the opportunity to upgrade him.

He'll be sticking around for the foreseeable future with me.

I have ended up around 40k short of getting both Ted and Ponga in. Was planning on using Mahoney as an upgrade, but he's looking like a keep for the next couple of weeks now.

    Double Cow week for myself.
    Keighran - Okunbor
    Brown - CHT

Means I can't get Ponga or Teddy till next week. But need some cash generation.

    Likely trades for the week.
    AK to Chanel no.6
    Capewell to Tolman
I was going to get Twal, but with Pay finally working out that Tolman needs big minutes, with Napa out for a few weeks and the Bulldogs playing round 12. Tolman looks like the better choice.

My team will look like this: Wink
    Rein
    Fifita, Tolman
    Arrow, Murray, Bateman
    Munster, Morgan
    Nikora, Burns :Rope:
    Teddy, Hughes, CNK

    Mahoney, Garner, Burr, DBrown :Rope:
    CHT, Lawrie, Bird, Ravalawa

Massive move mate. I'm up 1500 places to 2600 after losing 2000 places last week. Vaughan my only genuine POD helping out.

My current issue is finding players to trade out. Have spare cash, $178k after my first trade. Everyone in my squad is a keeper performing well or a cow / mid ranger with low BE that is scoring well.

I mean I've heard people say that Siebold probably can't drop Boyd too soon because despite his atrocious on field performance, he is the club captain and he has to tread carefully where the playing group is concerned because they like him.

Still not having a go is the biggest cardinal sin in Rugby League. Drop him, make Gillett or Glenn captain and try something different.

I'm pretty sure he's never getting dropped. All I see happening is him possibly going to the wing and Isaako playing FB (like what Bennett tried last season but Boyd was in the centres).
