If you were sitting at rank 537 and had 482k in the bank would you update some players to grab a bottoming up keeper or go for more low price cows?

    Rein.
    Fifita. Vaughan
    Murray. Nikora. Capewell.
    Munster. Morgan.
    Bird. Bateman.
    Teddy. CNK. Ponga.
    Xerri. CHT. Garner. Burr.
    Host. Ravalava. Burns. Brown.

I'm not exactly struggling for points at the moment so I'm thinking generating more cash would be advantageous however getting the right priced fallen gun at the right time is also key.

I would go Fallen Gun + Cow

Lol Carty, Edwards and Sivo the biggest issues.

Gillett to Ponga, Host to Okunbur/CHT

I'm working on some looks for your query now fella!

Carty/Sivo are fine and making decent $$$

If Carty maintains the 80 minute edge role I'd be expecting high 30s/ low 40s and for his price i'll take that everyday!
Edwards is a pain but lost so much cash vs his potential I'm considering holding (might have too as I'm holding Burns anyway)

Host is goners currently going Host/Gillet for Crichton/Ponga

If I don't pull the trigger on a double gun in this week I'll likely take a swing on CHT and Critchton and wait another week on Ponga

I'd spend cash to bring some guns in to strengthen your 14-17

Also, playing with only 1 hooker is risking trouble. I'd look at getting someone (probably Cook) in to give Rein a bit of support.
Crichton also looking a good price

Oh yeah I don't mean having, I mean playing them. I'm probably going to hold Edwards on the gambler's fallacy. Carty will earn coin but I expect it to be erratic scoring. Crichton for Gillett is a good option but a look at a more reliable WFB might help

Rapture_NRL wrote:I know this will probably get lost but my season is pretty shot atm from 2500 to 12500 and 5 players out. Can someone give this a decent look. None of my trade ideas make me happy:

    Rein
    Tolman Napa (just traded in)
    Arrow Bateman Murray
    Munster Morgan
    Bird Nikora
    CNK Edwards Ravalawa

    Macca Garner Burr Lawrie
    Brown Keighran Friend Burns

    $149k, 28 trades

The injuries have fucked me over massively. Only thing I'm happy with is 2RF, HLF and CTR. Can't really afford to bring in any guns with 5 injuries. Probably going Meaney and Okunbur in for AK and Brown

Hopefully Friend makes an early return for you this week mate, starting team and 4 man bench is fine minus playing Edwards and Rava together, I'm still holding hope Dylan gets some confidence back because he is a cracking player and scores should follow!

With 4 injured in your non playing and Napa your cash generation is suffering, So you probably needs some cows in this week.

Move Lawrie in FR and Go Napa - CHT and AK - Okunbur

I don't want to lose Gillett yet, solid scorer and back in 2RF. Let's hope he stays there. I might hold him and go gun/cow and get the other gun in next week.

He was the only option which allowed Ponga and Crichton in the same week. Probably safer to wait a week on one of them

Yeah sweating on Friend and I think I can manage one more week at this rate.

I know trading Napa is the right move, but damn does it hurt to burn those 2 trades

    Cheers for the thoughts.

Yeah true. Tbf to Gillett, Broncos have been bad and he's playing next to Niko who gives him about 1 good ball per 3 games. Crichton and Ponga can definitely wait a week, it's just points you won't get.

Getting too attached is a fantasy recipe for disaster! (says the guy praying Edwards returns to form) Laugh 3

Get some big cashies in this week or at least 1 with a Ponga/Crichton if you can, solidfy your scoring for a few weeks whilst Friend and hopefully Burns returns early! Stat the slow slog up the rankings then!

I'll be with you there as still behind your 12,500 mark!

We can do this together lad! Laugh 3

With Macca bottoming out is it worth upgrading him to Bateman while I still can? Would mean only having Rein until Friend is back but I feel like I need to bring in a solid scorer this week/I have chronic FOMO - not worried about getting Ponga in this week
