@ wackos - Siebold talking about D. Boyd.....sometimes you're swimming in a pot of honey and sometimes you're swimming in a pool of shit.

Well that's pretty deep but wtf does he actually mean. One would think it would be easier to swim in a pool of shit because honey is a more solid substance. Plus if you're swimming in a pot of honey the bees will come & sting you but if you're swimming in a pool of shit only the flies will come & they're pretty harmless.

For those looking at Cook for captain this week, they are playing in Sunshine Coast, where it has been raining all week and possibly will be raining on Saturday; however, Saturday night at Shark Park looks to be a dry one. Might captain Tedesco this week/

Also, how big is this pot of honey that you're theoretically swimming in it? And who, ever, actually is swimming in a pool of shit? Very few people worldwide, except maybe sewage workers with balance problems.

Maybe what he's saying is that Darius can't swim.

swimming in a pot of honey = AJ, GI, Walker, Allan as fullback options in a winning team
swimming in a pool of shit = Boyd as captain on $1M/year in a losing team

On $1m a year he’s got the pot of honey all to himself, rest of his team are sharing the pool of shit

This is a bit misleading as the comment wasn't even about Boyd but more about the team as a whole. In a response to Gillmeister's comments to sack Boyd as skipper, Seibold said that "sometimes you're swimming in a pot of honey and sometimes you're swimming in a pool of shit. It's a week to week thing in the NRL". Pretty much meaning that one week you are gold and one week you are shit in the eyes of the fans and media. Also referenced that 2 weeks ago Boyd was probably B.O.G against the cows.

Hard to say without seeing the rest of your team but if you don’t bring in Ponga and Crichton who plays in your 17 this week instead?

Could do one cow and one gun this week and then same again next week

@mintotheimmortal yeah, this might be the way to go. Does Ponga benefit you the most this week? ie avoiding rookie roulette at WFB3? etc

Sounds good. Surprised you didnt get CHT last week, you started with just Keighran and Brown in the halves right?

    So this week ive done

    Friend > Ponga
    Host > CHT

Next week ill look at downgrading Edwards unless there is a positive uptick in performance.

    Edwards > Cow (Xerri)
    Ravalawa > Crichton

Fingers crossed things go to plan there

What happened to that poster who was very outspoken on the sexual assault stuff? Did he get banned? Did his fantasy team blow out? Or have I just not noticed him around. (Sorry cant recall his name).

Also where's @Rabbit? He never got back to me (Idont think) about when/if we are going out for a beer in Dunedin!

Only really a couple of base stats have changed

Having Cook over Macca is kind of a blessing and a curse with more points but now Macca owners can afford to do a straight swap with a better underpriced gun or Rein and improve other areas of your team whereas Cook owners like myself will likely keep him the majority of the year

Not a bad read. Doesn't kind of sway me either way though. They are due to bounce back you would think. Even a low blow Dylan Edwards knock lol.

So as a Lane owner & since he has a virus this could in part explain his drop off in scores the last couple of weeks. In the old format with a 25 man squad you could maybe hold him but this new fantasy format you just can't do it.

Keep changing between ponga & okkie or teddy & CHT.

Can't settle on which 2 to bring in this week.
