I've not watched much of the eels this year, but from what I have seen, an equally plausible explanation is just attacking stats.

Week 1 he got a TA, LBA, and TB for 10 points, week 2 a T, and 2TBs for 14 points. Then week 3 and 4 he got 0 for each.

Just seems like the kinda guy who will score low 30s on average without the attacking stats and high 40s with. Therefore I'd say he ends up averaging low 40s.

In any case, I agree, if you own him he's probably a trade this week or next (assuming no big attacking stat game) cause there is better value than him out their right now at 2RF let alone elsewhere.

Just felt like last week there was carnage every day with the Keighran news and then the Brown news and felt like someone was getting ruled out just about every day

@mattnz funny you say that, got Morgan after round 1 and I picked up 'the trap' that is Carty last week. As a warriors supporter had no faith in CHT and Kearney but he looked promising and took the line on. Plus the 56 ensures he gets a few price rises.

Kalkadoon's team is over 200 points behind me so not doing well but it looks like he's trading still. Rabbit looks to have joined Hench in banishment.

I can see why he's banned but I enjoy his contributions. I'd say the two of us have butted heads with him as much as anyone

On Lane, having watched all Eels games the big difference between what I expected and what is happening is that he is not on the right edge next to the dominant half of the team, so his scores are reflecting less involvement in the game.
Also, I myself have always found carrying the ball in the right hand and fending with the left arm more natural and maybe that is the case with Lane.

On that note, I started with Niukore and apart from the game against the Roosters he's been going great guns.

If only I started with Bateman instead of Lane (87 points), CNK instead of Edwards (91 points), RTS instead of CWatson (substituted with Ravalawa for 3 weeks - 116 points).

That is three players across 4 rounds that would put me in first place by 2 points. Just shows how easy it is to make up ground and hopefully I can pick up a few players during the season that go on a bit of a run of form.

Rabs shits me as much as anyone on here. But given half a chance, I would still vote him in as a mod and enjoy that wild ride.

Also is there anyone out there that has been holding Roache.

I heard through a mate of a mates (who thinks he knows a lot about the warriors) and that Roache's injury is a lot more sinister than just a calf injury (and that it's more to do with Achilles tendon).

I didn't want to believe him so I've held Roache all this time but he still hasn't appeared and also Kearney is remaining tight lipped about it. Think I should just cut my losses?
