Moley reckons real reason Suli was dropped because he put on 5 kegs (equivalent to half a GI) since round 1.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 30
So far this week my trades have been Host to Xerri and Lane to Ponga with 159k left in the bank. My question is, should i do Brown to Xerri instead for the extra 20k i can bank and the fact i would have 4 cows play this week instead of 3 (assuming host plays, if he doesnt i will stick with the original trades)? Keep in mind my next moves will be to bring in rein and crichton and i need a bit of cash as i will be upgrading from Bird and Sele.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 30
Following on from a question I asked last week in response to a number of posters saying Arrow was 'Busted'.
I watched him pretty closely this week v Warriors. He actually did look a bit busted during the game particularly the first half where I'd often see him slumped over after a play. It concerned me that he was struggling a bit. However he played through and put up a decent first sting in terms of minutes, then returned again for a second stint.
He hit his score of 55 without a single big attacking play.
Feels to me like if he gets 60 minutes or more per game he will typically hit pretty decent totals and average somewhere around 55. Therefore unless something changes he's probably a keeper.

Yeah but this week's round is an odd number which means Arrow will score poorly.

For such a big bloke he is fragile. I did notice that too, and several times I saw him squatting down (might not have been on the camera). Slightly concerning.

Rapture_NRL wrote:Alright lads, thanks for all the good chat and advice. Really appreciate it and it's giving me more confidence. Now I've got 4 options atm:
A) Napa + AK - > Klemmer + Xerri $4k (fixes FRF, no bank)
B) Edwards + AK - > Ponga + Xerri $30k (Beefs up WFB, no bank, have to play Rava)
C) AK + Brown - > Meaney + Xerri $194k (Beefs up WFB, Rd 12, Burns in Emg, money for Ponga etc next week)
D) Macca + AK - > JFH + Meaney $105k (2x Rd 12, more points, good bank, JFH smokey)
In all cases I'd play the 2nd trade in. Leaning towards C because it offers better long term growth plus gives a stop gap to my WFB problem. I could go all out for Cook but can't ruin my whole team for him.
*I do still have Friend but if he's back next week I'd rather hold.

Looks like I didn't send my vote in, thought I did... I would go with C. Means no Rava which is a plus. Was looking at Meaney myself but I'd need to dump Burns which I don't want to do atm.Rapture_NRL wrote:

I think B simply cause Edwards is a dud this year and carrying him this far has resulted in, Im pretty sure most if not all people's rankings really suffering. That said a shift to the wing could see him reduce his errors, get more dummy half runs and therefore a few more sideways TBs. Are you willing to risk your season on that though?
So for B You get to ditch Edwards, get a keeper as a replacement, and a good cow.
All other options involve holding Edwards so I'm turned off straight away. Of the others though I'd go with A cause I think Klemmer is a nice POD not talked about too much and Napa obviously needs to go this week or next.

Not a lot of value in FRF around, depends on your bench and do you still have cover. Brown is a week on week proposition so you could be holding him for 2 weeks or 6. All thing's equal Brown's still got money to make I'd punt Host (and plan on, but for CHT because some dickhead already punted Brown for Xerri 2 weeks ago)

Any chance Fifita is named at lock instead of Gillett?

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 30
Few captain options this week -
Cook running through some dodgy D verse the Warriors
Murray hitting a few holes and possibly falling over the line against the Warriors (Could be a little smokey)
Fifita stepping up verse the Roosters squad after a sad loss
Tedesco running through some wet hands (35% chance of rain Saturday night) for a double
Bateman busts out 80 minutes at lock against the eels
Nikora busts a few lines and gets a TA to Xerri on his way to 70 against the Roosters (SMOKEY!!)
