If you have after contact meters, guys like Taumalolo and Taupau will kill it. They just keep pumping their legs. SC do hit ups < 8m worth less than hit ups > 8m

Re: Fantasy Fanatics Podcast #5
Was struggling a bit for a question this week boys but thanks for the chat on Burns.
I’m just going to keep him, although the Cook trading him news a little unsettling. I don’t anticipate a quick return with both hammy AND ankle scans initially.
Some people have Rava/Sivo... I went Garrick/Kahu. 2 more nailed on guys (I thought at the time)that play 12z What can you do. Anyways got myself a differential in meaney for now. Cheers

Re: Fantasy Fanatics Podcast #5
Great work guys.
on Post Contact Metres as a stat. It gets recorded, you can see it through the nrl site
https://www.nrl.com/draw/nrl-premiership/2019/round-5/broncos-v-wests-tigers/
Just go player stats and scroll around
PCM there as well as stuff like play-the-ball speed and a bunch of other stats. Would be relatively easy to add as a scoring stat (for someone competent at least, I;'m confident mtb could chuck into his site without issue)

It's an interesting discussion point, quite like it. What do others think about changing the game, what would you guys like to see?

Re: Fantasy Fanatics Podcast #5
Can @Welsh please sign off this week with "Hooroo".
Also, changing the game re PCM only could be great, but very hard to monitor and justify when it starts and stops on any given run.
I'd love a way, somehow, for our teams to not all become so similar, some sort of incentive to steer away from the safe options. Hard to generate ideas for this, but imagine a formula which deciphered your players score based on ownership % and getting more points if ur player scores high and is in a certain % of teams. Long winded and to much to ask I know.

Re: Fantasy Fanatics Podcast #5
I think rather than effect the scoring, perhaps increasing their price (to buy only maybe) based on their ownership (i think someone once mentioned there is a format that does this already?) would be a better way to do what you're after revs.
Sorta emulating the whole market demand driving a players worth up and encouraging coaches to either jump on early or get a pod, without actually ruining the players score so they are still an option if coaches want to take the hit.

Fantasy premierleague does that.
Prices change daily (not weekly) based on net transfers in.
Also the other thing which I like is that you only get half the profits when you sell. Means the game is more about finding and keeping value players than a money making exercise.
In ye olden days Fox Sports ran an NRL comp that ran using this setup. I used to love it and preferred it to Supercoach/Dream team. Finished around the top 200 every year. I was in the minority though as the comp died and Fox Sports just adapted Supercoach as their fantasy comp.

Re: Fantasy Fanatics Podcast #5
With people's WFB/CTR (particularly on this site) converging - people having at least 4 of Bateman/Nikora & Teddy/Ponga/RTS/CNK and the top teams having the 2 highest averaging players in the game (Farah & DCE) where do you see the ranks changing as some of us who are highly ranked are kind of at a disadvantage by chasing the top teams who already own the players we want
I'm sure it's far too early to talk this kind of strategy with the whole marathon not a sprint notion but it'd be an interesting point of discussion

Re: Fantasy Fanatics Podcast #5
At this stage in the game what is more important? Aiming to get the top fantasy scorers in your squad (chasing points)? Getting the discount guns in (chasing points at a discount)? Or letting your cows make money and upgrade when they are ready to go? Or lastly, start saving trades?

What do u mean, more than the standard weekly rise ? What do you mean 'ruining' ?
