Speaking of R12 hopefully by then Mahoney and Rein will be able to be upgraded to 2 of Smith/McInnes/Farah post R12

The Origin teams should be quite interesting as there is a few people absent due to suspension/retiring and some players underperforming that probably don't deserve to be picked on form but might be on loyalty

NSW HLFs/CTRs/FRF may be interesting and have relevant fantasy impacts

That's the thing though, he didn't score those tries. He'll have his good games but getting Bateman in the CTR's makes Bird surplus to requirements.

At the least his cash making is probably going to slow down and somebody needs to get sold, he seems the best option.

Cheers for the update on Rd12 boys, haha not sure what I was thinking there with the Tigers
For some reason I had this in the back of my mind they were playing
At least that helps answer another question I had about another player I was considering for that bye then

I’ve got bird, bateman and Nikora. I don’t need him as soon as he stops making money. Was hoping for more, but I’m in no rush to play him.

Looking like I can only do 1 upgrade next week and still have another chunk of cash on the sidelines. If you could only take one of these which would it be? I will have roughly ~730k in bank so cash isn't really an issue it's just a matter of fitting the 17

    McCullough>Cook
    Sivo/Rava>Teddy/Ponga
    Sele>Taupau

Options 1 and 3 leave me playing both Sivo & Rava at the back again

Option 1 is a straight swap

Option 3 means I have to leave out 2 of Haas, Lawrie, Rein, Cartwright

So far I am leaning towards option 2 and grabbing Teddy

To make the above question easier this is what my 17 will look like before this trade

    McCullough
    Fifita Twal
    Matterson Arrow Murray
    Munster Morgan
    Nikora Capewell
    CNK Sivo Rava

Lawrie, Rein, Haas, Cartwright, CHN, Sele, Xerri, Burns

I think you're going to struggle as long as you've got both Rava and Sivo in your 17 and you need to upgrade one of them to Teddy/Ponga. I think that should be your priority.
Too much chance for one of them to score <20 on any given day... and then that means there's a chance that both of them will.

Whilst you may see your rank as poor, you will find that points wise you aren’t too far away.
    Plenty of time to go.
No way you should give up.

Yeah that was the same line as my thinking. If only Munster had DPP WFB

Yeah it's more just change of strategy is the thing. I did well enough last year but lost too many H2H games in the lead up lol nice work though. Will have to work out how to fund Farah/Cook/both lol nice work from you though

IMO Keary should be replacing Maloney for sure.

Agreed. Almost a blessing in disguise having Cronk out for that little bit. Wouldn't be surprised if Fittler picks him. He's a smart guy

Keary will be picked.. I love Maloney but its time to start building a half combo for the next few years (it also helps Keary is in such good form)

Lucky for the Warriors that the Eels said no to a D. Brown transfer because he's got a stuffed back & probably won't play for at least another month. He would of been a K. Foran mark 2.

Reports of Jai arrow being injured. Anyone hearing any news?

Could be a trade out with reduced minutes plus injury

The SoO eligibility rules need to be changed to avoid cases like Keary.

Most people in NSW don't want him playing for us, as he stated he wants to play for Qld.

He was born in Qld, played for a bunch of NSW and Qld teams as a teenager and was part of the Junior Qld squad. It's clear where his loyalties lie and it isn't really fair to blackball him from Origin selection because of some stupid rules.

I don't want him ever picked for NSW, but again, I don't think it's fair that he may never play origin when he's probably good enough.

Completely agree, never understood why they don't get a player to state their allegiance at the time of their first nrl contract, before anything else can come into it.
