Most people in NSW don't want him playing for us, as he stated he wants to play for Qld.

He was born in Qld, played for a bunch of NSW and Qld teams as a teenager and was part of the Junior Qld squad. It's clear where his loyalties lie and it isn't really fair to blackball him from Origin selection because of some stupid rules.

I don't want him ever picked for NSW, but again, I don't think it's fair that he may never play origin when he's probably good enough.

I'd probably take the 110k like you are thinking though.  If Salmon hits a good score you are all of a sudden pretty close to that magic 150k we throw around about a trades worth.
