    AFB is on for a suspension with loading, not sure how many games.

    Anyway you don't bring Taupau in for the week, you bring him in for the season, and he' should be one of the top few FRFs come season's end, Des or not.

    I think I'll be tossing up between Cook or Ponga.
    Ponga with the slight advantage as otherwise I have to play Sivo.

    If Fifita is out may need Cook as captaincy option though

    Trades this week are something like:
    Bird > Haas
    Sivo / Rava to ? (up to $850k, round 12 preferred)

    My thoughts as well re cook and Fifita. Need a genuine captain option. Players like bateman, Ponga, rts wil give me a heart attack with the c on.

    Dce and Farah look like the only other players I’d want the c on.

    I've already got Twal and don't have Fifita, so whilst i get the point I'm probably the worst possible example to use for that Razz

    Nah I'm contemplating slightly different pods, like dropping Gillet for Klem. Was a toss up between Klemmer and Twal last week and i went for the one that I guessed (correctly i think?) would increase in price the most with the intent of bringing in the other this week. Still might, but it would mean continuing with Rava in my 13, or possibly trying for an underpriced guy like Rapa (but then I already have Wighton and CNK there...).

    Comment wasn’t directed at you, just general whinging on my behalf. Twal over Klem seems a good call. But both is fairly poddy. Someone who has gone under the raider Badum1 .... here is Macca (the good one).

    As a raiders fan, I have huge raps on raps. But, he f’d me so hard last year. He seems too boom or bust for me now. CNK (inreckon as crucial a signing as Bateman) has been immense for the raiders, he doing a lot of the hard work rapana, bj and cotric were doing. Taking away a lot of points across the raiders backs.

    With the talk about a lot of forum teams being similar, it's weird that all the talk is about Cook & Ponga while nobody is mentioning (and very few here own) a guy who is averaging ten points more than the next best in his position and is in most of the top-ranked non-forum teams (hence them being top-ranked). Is this a type of collective blindness?

    Innocent until proven guilty. Is the easiest cop out. But I think it’s the perception about how hard, and the way he is fighting back. If it was a sure thing guilty, he would have disappeared into nothing like Hayne. But he has people in his corner. Plus, wouldn’t be the first time an NRL player has been falsely accused. As I said just a perception

    If I could afford DCE I would mate.

    Morgan and Carty can soldier on for now

    Host -> Haas
    Keighran -> Ponga

    $2k ITB is my initial trade plan this week. Could go for a Gutho/Hughes option and go for an upgrade next week, but with Meaney and CNK in my WFB (Garrick back up), I think I need a set and forget option.

    Collective not being able to justify having dce with all the other half options. That and he plays for a shit team who had their star fb out. Was cause for concern. In saying that. People need to get him in soonz

    Ok, thanks. I take your point, but maybe not playing ever again is a bigger deal to him than somebody like Hayne, who was at the back end of his career.

    The testimony I heard was pretty damning, but I accept she could have made it up.

    Definitely. A herd mentality is cultivated. It becomes evident in the performance of our leagues. Last year the herd was on the money and we were well represented at the top of the league leaderboard. This year we aren't doing so well.

    And I don't know why nobody is talking DCE. I tidy 73 on the weekend an average over 65 and a genuine captain option.

    To be honest I'd rather Cleary at $200k less (or bigger discount in a couple of weeks). Spending too much money to bring DCE in now, and don't think the gap in averages will last through the whole season.
