Depends if you are focussing in overall or head to head - basically you want to get your final 17 as quickly as possible with some trades left for covering injuries.
This is often done by trading early in the season to get cash and fix up mistakes - conserving trades through the middle (unless you are bye planning for overall where you will trade heavily from rounds 12 - 16) when there are less cash cows / avoiding sideways trades and then getting the last guys in after origin.

If you go max trades every week you’ll run out about round 16 or 17 and then a lot of the fun goes out of the game!

Chatter in here just gave me an interesting idea to mull over. Upgrading my average cows to high return forwards who should be pretty consistent with price rises.

Yeah I'm the same! Tried to Google NRL info but found this sess pit haha Definitely was an amateur the first few posts just asking for advice and not contributing

I found this place because Lone Scout tweeted about this site saying it had some good discussion. Was not disappointed.

Solid plan though just make sure not to tie up to much money in NPR's
One benefit is if Ogden can hang around until round 12 then may get some gametime depending on Napa. Sutton has the ricky factor but the safer job security you are paying for.
Though gives you plenty of depth and options

Looking at your team with guns all over, then I would pull those triggers

Basically you are a step ahead of the pack which is where you want to be,paying less and giving you more options for what comes up

Found it last year (was my 1st year) via Google. As I use nrlsctalk so typed in something similar and Google put me here.

If you trade one keeper for another, then three things happen:
1) You don’t have someone you want at the end of the season.
2) You have someone you want at the end of the season
3) You lose a trade



As someone who traded Cook two weeks ago, I’m on the Don’t Trade Keepers bandwagon.

Quick question, is Sutton worth delaying Ponga a week and playing Sivo?

Yes. I understand that. But you also get 1 and 3. And 3 hurts pretty bad in R18 when Fifi does a knee, Surgess gets suspended, ARey breaks, Teddy gets dropped, and Nikora goes on a Mormon mission.
