I could get in DCE easily by selling L. Lewis but I'm not sure I want to outlay that amount of capital.

Very wishful thinking for Sutton to get 2RF this week, ans the DPP update is set for next Wednesday, 24th April.

I'd say Ogden, Sutton, RJennings, Lawrie are strong DPP candidates.
Haas getting DPP might depend on where TPJ is named next week. If Haas gets relegated to the bench they might keep him as FRF only

    Was talked about briefly earlier.

Someone mentioned DCE is scoring 10 points a game better than the next best half. Which is true. DCE is scoring at 65.8 and next best is Hunt/ARey/Munster at around 56.

    Lats 5 years DCE has averaged 55, 49, 49 54, 52
So the question you have to ask is if the current scoring is how he will perform this year, or whether long term he will drop back to his historical average.

With Cleary he is currently averaging 45
    His last 3 years average are 52, 56, 53.

So with Cleary currently $669k and dropping, and DCE $880k and rising, there are genuine questions about who is better value for the rest of the season.

Its certainly possible that DCE is going to average well the entire season, and Cleary is going to drop a bit on past highs. In which case jump on DCE as soon as you have the funds/trades available.

My personal opinion (and I get things wrong a lot) is that Cleary can improve on his current average, and DCE will drop a bit, so I'm looking at bringing in Cleary when he is cheap and betting on him picking things up.
Great analysis, i do think both DCE will drop and Cleary will improve, though I'd also be willing to bet in these two instances it wont be back to their past averages. I think Cleary will be more like 50 and DCE more like 60, just because i think DCE is a confidence player (he doesn't appear this way at first because of how he handles himself in interviews) and last years origin was big for him.

Can do bird and Rava to ponga and haas whilst keeping Gillett but would leave me with no wfb cover until Burns is back.

What am i missing here, aren't you going 1 WFB for 1 WFB? So you're already running with no WFB cover and you're just worried you'd be continuing to do so?

I plan to trade out one of Bird or Holland for Ponga and one of Rava or Sivo for Haas.

I will most likely be trading out the other two next week unless they can restart the money making.

Which 2 of these would you trade out first? Im thinking Bird and Rava as Holland and Sivo have higher possible ceilings. Any advice appreciated Smile

Why stop at picking up Lowe. Take a punt on Aubo while you are at it.

Hell maybe even GI will get another game, is he still available?

Taupau has been my captain the 1st 5 rounds. My other choices are Murray, Arrow and Bateman. Should I stick with Taupau, in the hope he is busy against the dragons pack or favor one of the others?

More positive injury news: Jai Arrow’s injury from the weekend has been confirmed as just a cork & he will be named (via @TomSangsterSC). Cork gets more painful as it cools down but usually quick recovery. Very low risk of reinjury, would expect a regular workload from Arrow

Do you have to play any of them in the 17?

Its hard to say but would Bird & Holland for Ponga & Haas work? Throw Rava and Sivo in the EMG and hope for a try to boost their cash making. If not, then I'd trade Rava ahead of Sivo

Good news for Vaughan owners, looks like his 60 min games will continue

    https://www.nrl.com/news/2019/04/16/vaughan-thriving-on-extra-minutes-in-revamped-rotation/

"Mary has got me doing a rotation at the moment where I am really benefitting from playing the first 20 minutes, then 10 minutes either side of halftime and the last 20 minutes," Vaughan said.

    Yes I did.

I also know that 2 different coaches have named him this week.
