The knights just looked dreadful last week. You would think this is an outlier and shouldnt happen again. The HIA didnt help but yeah, wasnt watching the game close enough to see why he wasnt kickingCamo123 wrote:
What I want to know is how does a dominant half in Pearce get 50KM all game last week after getting 500+ the week before (Ponga at FB for both so that shouldn't be the reason)

Thoughts?

EJ24 wrote:I'd like to know everyones thoughts on the gun half situation atm. With nearly everyone running morgan and cht in the halves I feel like there are a few good opportunities out there for the coming weeks;
Cleary ($669k) - Playing in a struggling team and still averaging 45, starting to find some form of late. Kick metres are way down compared to last year. 100k under starting value, BE 55. 1 or 2 weeks from bottoming out.
Pearce ($608k) - Playing in a struggling team aswell. Will be the dominant Half again with ponga moving back to fullback. Has had a dreadful start to the year only has one try assist to his name. BE of 59 and down 136k below his starting price.
SJ ($719k) - Playing in a more competitive team this year, still a bit unsure if this will be better or worse for his fantasy game. More attacking base stats however less touches of the ball compared to the warriors. Probably not as undervalued as the other 2 mentioned. BE of 62, bit of value there for his price and pedigree.
Obviously there are other guys out there but who would you rate as the best buy 2 or 3 weeks down the line and who do you think bounces back in form fantasy wise?

If you are going to bring in both, do Twal first, his BE is 20 less than Teddy. Loop Burns this week to limit the difference. If you post your team in the loop thread I can assist you with the best setup for it.
Not telling you to change your mind, but aren't you saving yourself 34K if you're getting both (49-15) and I assume you'd be bringing in Twal to upgrade a position, so the increase in points there should be subtracted from that 30?hymenbustas wrote:
Can't loop cause Burns plays earlier than all my backs so there goes that plan.
If Twal scores another 60, he's due for a $49k price rise. Teddy scores a 50, he goes up around $15k.
If i go Twal, my predicted WFB score will be CNK (40) + Ponga (50) + Rava/Kapoo (20) = 110. With Teddy there, its 140.
So 30 points to save myself $50k next week. Think I answered my own question

Yep. I've said this before but he's in a position where his scores are disappointing but they're just good enough to hold him as I fix other problems. I've considered trading him to Mahoney before which is sideways as but for extra cash. Probably too late now though.
He'll stay until I can make a definite upgrade to Cook or Farah.
