This feels like an Edwards 2.0 scenario.

The only way I can make both my trades this week (Klem and Pong) is by selling him which I've come so close to doing but keep having these PTSD flashbacks to watching Raiders vs Broncos at Suncorp. Screaming "WATCH THE HOOKER HE'S GOING TO GO HIMSELF" and then being ridiculed all afternoon by the Broncos mates i was seeing it with, when we somehow fell for his dummy. Every. Fucking. Time.my tv broke wrote:

If CHT averages 40 for the next 3 weeks he goes up 150k+ and i pay an extra 40k for Ponga next week.
Does this make sense?

Anyone thinking of captaining Ponga/Arrow it is forecast for rains from tomorrow through till Wednesday in the GC
Fine, 23 and minimal humidity for the Rabbits v Bulldogs 4pm game on Friday (Cook)
20, Fine and minimal humidity tonight for Sharks v Panthers (Nikora, Cleary?, Fifita)
18, 60% humidity and good track for the Storm v Roosters tomorrow night. (CS9, Teddy, Crichton)
24, cloudy and 44% humidity for the Raiders v Broncos on Sunday afternoon. (Bateman)
Pretty much covers most peoples captains option
EDIT: For anyone looking at Farrah or Garner??? 20% chance of rain and cloudy on Monday afternoon at Bankwest Stadium.
Why not, Ponga > Teddy. He hasn't got the injury concern in the back of his mind holding him back.StormTrooper96 wrote:

Dont expect Ponga to score 70 in the rain.

Expect Macca to take a little bit more control of the game this week. Had 0 kicks last week and only 19 metres gained. Expect him to do a lot more in game kicking and running the ball a little more to the line. After the last fortnights debacle of not having someone to control the game and close out in late situations expect Macca to put his hand up and take this game into his own.

244 first grade games in and we are still waiting for 'the next cam smith' to emerge in Macca

This is worst case scenario scoring in regards to prices blowing out.
Im just trying to convince myself that i can wait a week on Ponga and instead go for the two cash cows that should bang out 150k worth of prices rises over the next month at a minimum.
It will also give me 360k for next week to go for a couple of guns.

I'm thinking Nikora might be a nice POD choice but I've been in this scenario before. You pick someone going well, they're up against a team that give up lots of points or miss a lot of tackles. Next thing you know they've only scored in the 40's as the opposition has miraculously decided to contain your player's influence for one week only to spite you.
