My personal choice is Tolman to miss the 17 this week, but maybe that's due to his score last week in a heavy loss.
I think today could be a similar scenario.

You need to have the right setup, so you can see 2 or 3 scores, then choose the best of them.

Lawrie, Gillett, Tolman, Garner, Haas?
Arrow, Bateman (c), Murray locked in picks.
Lawrie out
Gillett and Haas might get inflated minutes with TPJ and Lodge out and Tolman should be kept busy by the bunnies pack so lots of tackles. With that it just comes down to Lawrie and Garner. i would just pick Garner over Lawrie because ignoring injuries hes been scoring well.

Starting hooker or bench?
I'd say bench but Robbo is pretty coy on roles. Thinking we need Radley as a middle forward with Aubbo moving to centre and JWH a little under done. Bench should be Collins, Butcher, Tupouniua and Verrills. Expecting Radley's second stint will be in the middle with Verrills finishing the game(provided he doesn't get those first game nerves). Pack to finish the game JWH, Verrills, Tauk, Cordner, Crichton, Radley

Pookus McFly wrote:I had originally brought in RTS as a trade this week, in order to push Ponga up into the halves.
But with Cleary looking ripe for the tradein at lockout, I don't really need Ponga in my halves and now it looks like having RTS will push CNK outside the 17 altogether.
It seems obvious that I don't actually need RTS, and he would make a better post-R12 upgrade for CNK.
So why am I so reluctant to reverse and bank the trade?
Is it because RTS is getting a banner?
Playing CNK over RTS banks about 5-10 points a week. Surely there are some better trades you could make at this time of the year? Or better yet bank it for the bye rounds?

Did think about delaying Ponga for a week, and playing Sivo this week. We'll see how that decision went over the next few days
It was tough playing Sivo AND Rava in the same week to chase some cows but will hopefully help in the long term

If nothing else Radley needs to get involved as more than just a dummy half.

100% mate he is wasted at hooker as he spends the whole game chasing the play the ball instead of conserving energy for some well timed runs through the middle

Yeah weighing up with the Mrs if we go overseas, Tassie or something like what u have done...
The best thing was just being able to throw whatever in the back of the car - no worries about all the airport hassles. Done Tasmania a few times too - it's great. Flew a couple of times, and drove down (put the car on the ferry) once. Travelling overseas is fun when your single/couple, but with kids it can be a PITA.

I'd drop Lawrie out due to minutes.
How about this for me, 2 to miss out on my bench (no loop available), Rein, Niukore, Garner, Haas, Lawrie, Ah Mau or Tolman? Thinking Lawrie and Haas ATM..
Also, Cartwright or CHT?
Feels like I have too many options, which isn't a bad thing this time of the season!

I'd play CHT over Carty, too.

As starting lock without Sims around to screw up his minutes, Lawrie has had 55 and 57 minutes for scores of 43 and 54. Should average 50. Tolman without huge minutes should average lower. Ah Mau hasnt scored more than 48 all season.

For myself I'm thinking leaving Haas out instead of Lawrie. Lawrie should get around 45. Haas could go 30-60.

Yeah agree, Radley looks a great prospect, yet round 5 just gone and he has just been used as a link in the chain. Fantasy aside (as i do still have him), i wanna see him gunning it.

Hass is pretty much nailed on for 60-odd minutes with us missing our two best forwards, and he just last week went over a point per minute almost entirely in base stats in 64 minutes, i don't see him going below 45 unless he picks up an injury.

I saw the replay of this again, and honestly thought he would be ok. But i guess they cant soften the stance on this type of thing.
