True that! Lomax should be promoted for no other reason than goal kicking! I suppose it all worked out. This week......

It does look like Lomax will be the easy cash out for Rava

I'm thinking either Dufty, Wighton, gutho or just shelling out for CNK.

I'm not that keen for Teddy with Origin around the corner, so Kinda happy to take a punt to buy low.

    Who would you consider.

One vote for NOT Dufty. Had him last year and glad I bailed when I did. Job security even worse this year, coming off the bench initially, then dropped, then back due to injuries.

Top score of 38 today with a try.. Stay away imo.

I can't remember exactly when, but I remember the Eels were running without a valid goal kicker a few years back and it was torturous. And personally, if you have someone like Lomax on your bench, I think it's really stupid not to play him because those points so often make such a difference. For me, Rava is the easy one to replace, but either way, you surely have to have him on the field. Thing is, though, I can't see Rava being replaced if they keep winning and he's scoring tries. But their need for Lomax could not have been more evident tonight.

I've seen a few people go a bit cold on Haas and i don't really understand, he's a base stat machine with a motor bigger than he is (theres been numerous reports of him ranking way up in the fitness tests) who's starting in a lesser forward pack than the one he just played 60 minutes in, if he doesn't get injured he goes 60-odd minutes for over 50 points as far as i'm concerned

I agree. I was very sceptical in preseason but last week I took a punt with him starting and was impressed. And they way it unfolded, it was like he was destined for minutes in the middle from the start if not for the suspension. Seems to have that big minute motor and there always seems to be a Bronco out like that year Wallace kept getting bonus minutes.

Anyway I'm playing Haas and Lawrie, and Carty affraid and Garner affraid and Bird affraid

I hear ya mate, not quite at ur levels yet, but I understand.
My hate is teams carting the ball out of their own end getting penalties way to easily, apparent holding the player down etc etc ad naeuseum.

DWZ's price has fallen through the floor this year. Now in fb he might be a nice pick up. Even averaging 30's he would make 50k over the next 3 weeks and 1 big game would boost that significantly.  Also plays round 12 and low ownership.

Weeks score so far is 483/9c

Feels like im flopping but all my remaining players should hopefully get me 50p averages over all and have potential to do better. But ill be happy with 850 for the week.

There's not enough refs which is the problem. The game isn't big enough to support their development. If there was more pressure on their jobs it would mean dropping them to reserve grade would be easier. I think the bunker needs clear rules about when they should intervene or not. Overall happy with the reffing this year as opposed to last year. But it is pretty annoying when there's inconsistent calls that influence games. They really need to look at Union officiating

For every great decision I've made, like starting and keeping Burr, there's also a trading in Host instead of Lawrie because I wanted to save the extra cash at the time. Host turned into Jamal Idris lite which was a waste as well.

Had my eye on both DWZ and Egan as potentially replacements for Rava. Egan looks like a pass. DWZ should be able to average 30 and as you say one big game would boost that.
I traded Burns so would love to go Rava to burns before round 12 but i dont think Rava is gonna make enough cash

Totally agree! Even the “dropped” refs are still actually reffing this round

Im in the same boat as you. Plan has been Rava to Burns when he returns. Unfortunately i dont have alot itb. Need Rava to make a little more money and thats looking less and less likely. Hell 20 points with a try ffs. DWZ will be a good alternative to keep the money coming in to work up to Burns or just keep on through to round 12.

I also have Okunbor that im starting to think ill need to trade out but would Rather save the trade. Especially with him playing round 12... well if he even keeps his spot.
