In case it hasn't become apparent yet, fantasy fans are really terrible at predicting forward minutes. Particularly for players that they own.
Taupau was locked in for 60+ minutes last night for one example.

Which two make the bench and who misses out?

    Gillett, Garner, Haas

It's starting to look like last year was a purple patch for Taupau rather than the norm. He has always had runs where he posts some monsters and then comes back down to earth but last year he had 17 games at an average of 61 points after round 7. Maybe he is just a 50 average player rather than a 55 average player

To somewhat touch on your original comment fantasy fans have been wanting extra minutes for their players since the dawn of time. If Finucane was more popular we would be hearing every week about how he should be playing 80 minutes and Brandon Smith doesn't deserve minutes at lock

On form it has to be Gillett. I would lock in Haas and flip a coin for the other 2

Yeah Gilletts a weird one because in his favoured position he's scored two tries. I'd say he may have got close to 50 last week if he didn't get the HIA.

So is he a 40 average player without tries?

Currently 497/8 (c) played plus Xerri's 59 poophole which then makes me 556/9 - Mahoney, Haas, Arrow, Bateman, Garner, Ponga, Gutherson & CNK to play. Hopefully I can crack 950 but that's being pretty optimistic so 900-930 range is probably more realistic.

Big day for me today with only 6 scores currently counting for me. Let's see how Ponga over Teddy and Carty over CHT works out.

fair point, but at least wait until after the game to call it a terrible prediction! besides, i'm not saying he'll get an increase in minutes or anything like people were expecting with Kapow, i just don't see why he wouldn't get around the same minutes as he did last week, especially being named in the spot of a bloke who has also been regularly playing that same amount of minutes.

427/8. Seems a bit behind, but what else is new. Captain Ponga will go very good or very bad.

    620/10c here

    Garner - 45
    Arrow - 50
    Bateman - 55
    Ponga - 50
    CNK - 40
    Rein - 45
    Haas - 45

    = 950.

Had the chance to loop in Waddell over CHT but I didn't do it. I'm going to claim I never intended to loop because then I can somehow claim the high moral ground, is that how it works?

At least Waddell is making some cash but not in a way that anyone else is going to bring him in.

Hopefully he nabs a starting gig later in the season but is priced out of everyone else's range by then.

I'll jump on the train just so I can curse everyone who Haas the same players as me:

    Current score 537

    Haas 50
    Arrow 55
    Bateman 50
    CNK 40
    Ponga 45
    Macca 45
    Rein 50
    Garner 45
    = 380

    537+proj380= 917

My actual score probably around 870 I'm guessing

Definitely not going to catch up with that rubbish lol

Perhaps too early to start thinking about this weeks trades, but is it too late to bring in Burr? passed on him so far, but watched the Warriors game yesterday and he actually looks the goods, still a low BE despite having made plenty of cash already

    Sivo - 4

    Bateman - 103, with 2 meaties.

    That gives me 1090. Beautiful.

I think you were a bit harsh on Sivo.

I’ve got Laurie in the poop hole, take the 45 or take a punt on Haas or Mahoney?
