Surely guys like Tolo, Bateman, Farrah, JFH, Tolman, Taupau, AFB are priorities at this point?

If a player like Cleary/Teddy/Ponga becomes cheap enough to trade in at this stage of the game I would rather grab them now at their price instead of later on when they're peaked again.

My point was relevant to non-origin guns and round 12 players

    Well in that case:

Tolo is injured, so there's no point thinking about bringing him in yet
Bateman - anyone who knows what they're doing already has him, and if (like me) you don't, it doesn't matter much when you get him because it's just a case of what degree of f'n expensive he is in any given week.
Farah - no point getting him for a couple of weeks
    JFH - meh
    Tolman - zzzz
Taupau - got him, it's not that great
AFB - he, or someone like him, will be available to bring in sometime in the next 5 weeks

Roger Tuivasa-Sheck has been ruled out of tomorrow's @NZWarriors  game against  @storm  with a hamstring injury. It's understood Hiku will start at fullback

Tolo is injured, so there's no point thinking about bringing him in yet - True
Bateman - anyone who knows what they're doing already has him, and if (like me) you don't, it doesn't matter much when you get him because it's just a case of what degree of f'n expensive he is in any given week. - Every man and his dog should have him
Farah - no point getting him for a couple of weeks - Meh, on the way down
JFH - meh - I think is a smokey averaging 55+ and only 3% ownership. Too expensive now
Tolman - zzzz - Everyone wanted to trade him out last week.
Taupau - got him, it's not that great - Meh
AFB - he, or someone like him, will be available to bring in sometime in the next 5 weeks - Someone else will pop up. - More interested in Junior Paulo or Ryan Sutton at their price.

I don't want to trade Garner but damn it I am dying in fantasy land without Bateman and he's the best trade out option I have. I mean maybe if Taupau stinks it up with another sub 50 score, he can go but why ditch a Round 12 player who can go bonkers on a good day.

Yeah just noticing a lot of Garner trade out options.

Sipley anyone, know no one has him but some on here get the good stuff sometimes, goss etc

Whether he plays well enough to keep Kata/Beale out is another story.

Tough first up match away to the Storm.

Would love him in my team based on that Trial, need a 212k cash out and would prefer a forward, but very tempting.

I think Garner is just an easy option out of the players people have, since he's had a couple of injury concerns and doesn't play round 12.

I traded him out last week (for Cook). I didn't necessarily want to get rid of him, but I really wanted to grab Cook when I had the chance. Got pretty lucky with the HIA, but it was him or Niukore and I wanted Niukore for round 12 (of course, Niukore copped a HIA as well and only played 50 mins).

Yes but they are going to be some of the best players to have in your team for round 12.

    You going to double trade?

You guys realise you don't have infinite trades right?

With the lack of Assistant Coach sales this season, they are offering 2 extra trades for people who sign up to it before June 30

Yeah, purely the reason why I'm considering doing Arrow to JFH or Tolo soon. Rd 12 plus the potential impact of origin resting. That, and making sure any rd 16 players I have, or pick up from now are season keepers.

Only want two or three of those players in my 17 come season climax.

Would rather take as many cows through to rd 12, save some trades. Then bring in the remaining players to finalise my team after it.

Not having infinite trades could hurt you just as badly if you get stuck with a less stacked team due to bye planning too heavily. It certainly caught me out last year.

This thread is like listening to a bunch of women about what shoes go on sale this week.

ohhhhh but I really need that pair this week.....they are 20% off!!!!

Never mind about your wage (Trades)

The trades most people are spruking are origin players, who are probably going to miss 3 - 4 matches minimum, and you have to trade the rest of your team out for round 12 anyway.

    Phucking crazy.

Yeah but they fucked up the implementation and it actually takes away all your original trades, and leaves you with only 2 trades for the rest of the season
