ok, i need to have a rant, the media that report on this game and the rugby league fans that buy into it piss me the fuck off - the people that were whinging about players getting penalized for lying in the ruck for the first half of last year, are the exact same people whinging about players not getting penalized for lying in the ruck this year, it can't be had both ways.

Referees are constantly in a no win situation and it's the fault of the fuckfaces in charge of reporting our game, who'll constantly ignore a good game to point out every wrong decision, or even just 50/50's decisions they didn't agree with, to the point it's trickled down into the common fan and now apparently no team is ever to blame for a loss, it's those fucking referees that are always enforcing the rules the opposite way 'we' want them to, when 'we' were abusing them for enforcing the rules THAT way the week before. Rant

Thats a hard 1, they could all go -/+ the 57.

Would be tempted my Haas tho.

Lucky for me (maybe) I’ll have them all bar Mahoney.

@surmo13 that rant is bang on. I got so pissed off when people complained about no penalties in the Dogs/Souths game. The refs tried cracking down last year and got so much abuse for it that it was basically decided for them that refs don't blow lots of penalties.
    Can't whinge about it now.

The other one that shits me is the escort 'penalty' last week. This is something that has been deemed OK for years. They've essentially changed the rules a month ago and then crucifying touch judges when they can't keep up.
Not only that, after seeing the new interpretation, and watching the Dragons /Manly incident again, it was probably OK. Looked super dodgy (so on Phil Gould land where the rules don't matter and you just go by the vibe, it would be a penalty) but Lafai didn't change his line, just ran into position and stopped. Yet after the media blow up they don't even defend their touchy, just sack them and hang em out to dry. No wonder some officials don't have confidence

Mahoney's big scores have all involved a try or a big line break. Think he'll get one this week, then play him and dump Rein. Otherwise sit Mahoney out

Yeah cheers mate. Am reconsidering Haas actually. Surely doesn’t play 80 with Lodge back.

Now up to 35% ownership though, so the conservative play is probably copping his score

I use the loophole but to me it's the same as the rich hiding their money in tax havens to avoid paying tax....it might be legal but ethically & morally it is wrong. By the way I read a report that if all the billions hidden away in tax havens was taxed at the correct rate then it would solve world poverty. In NZ the favourite pass time is bashing the beneficiaries because in the eyes of the public they are ripping the system off but nothing is ever said about the rich & their tax havens because these people are ripping off the tax system & the country in a massive way & way, way more than any beneficiary could.

Knights are like a caramello Easter egg with a nice soft centre. We also play a lot of one out through the middle. Mahoney should enjoy himself

Hughes 40 makes it hard for me to sell him yet. Didn’t get to watch the game as I was at Endgame, how did he look? Ran a lot and had some TB’s. Hughes isn’t an urgent sell but keeping a close eye on some players he could easily jump to for that next tier. Was hoping for more of a 45-50 avg for Hughes but seems more 40-45. Think saving trades is better at the moment

Was very frustrating to watch as an owner. They only really go to him 20-30% of the time when they run shift plays. Most of his points come from kick returns and he typically just runs straight and hard which is good for his team but not perfect for fantasy given his size.

He got 12 points for his try so without that it’s another disappointing score in the 20s. He’s not urgent but is towards the top of my trade out options for sure

You are underestimating the power of Kearney's reasoning.

Besides that, he will find it hard to drop a player who has been granted leave on compassionate grounds. He will have to find place for Herbert some other way. How long is Fusitu'a out for?

Even if Kata is given another week, I'd rather see Herbert in our centres than Hiku. Hiku played well last night but is a liability in defense at centre. I'd also give up on this small bench we've been going for and just choose one out of Tevaga and Roache not both.
