I had the same thought. I saw a Niko highlight reel last night and it was all him stepping back inside and avoiding passing to Gillett.
I'm tempted to reverse trade him now and trade out Capewell instead.
Haha I've reversed 100s of trades. Just can't figure this week out.

Maybe he'll demand the ball of Dearden a bit more

I'm bringing in Smith and Dearden, that's locked.
I had Radley, Capewell, Gillett or Sele to trade.

If he's all alone when the pass is thrown
He's like a cat, take a chance on Matt
He'll run his best and bend the line
If you put him to the test, he'll score a try
Take a chance, take a chance, take a chance on Matt

Spot on I wish him well but it’s a tough ask for the young guy.Shanbon wrote:It’s going to be a tough game for an 18 year old half to debut in. At least when brown did it in rd1 he knew weeks before in preseason.
I’d say he will have to make at least 20 tackles, hows his defence? Is he going to miss Maloney like numbers? I’m going to have a look at how he goes this week with a view of using him as a cash out next week.

Idea is apdapted from Superleague and they do it really well. I was hoping they’d do the same and have 4 games Saturday and 4 games Sunday rather than normal round games at the one venue

Out of curiosity, what are your concerns with this?

any recommendations? or are they both probably a miss and i'm just trying too hard to find a player that gives me depth and POD
I own Wighton, he's been pretty great but probably not a keeper long term. He's a handy POD and Rd12 number and probably better than Mbye

Thoughts on Dearden as a downgrade from Garner to fund Morgan to Ponga? I was originally going to downgrade Garner to Waddell but I think Dearden is a better buy since Waddell will likely lose all the cash he makes by round 12. This opens up $251K for use next week, likely for selling Lawrie to a gun forward (Looking at Taupau)

It's an awesome idea. If I wasn't going to Perth for SOO i'd 100% be on the way to Brisbane today.
Its a stupid idea for 1 city to get everything for the weekend, fuck the rest of Australia. Seriously though, I don't care and am interested to see the crowd figures, that part should be good.
The thing that really pisses me off is Broncos get to play an away game at HOME. The Donkeys get enough favours from the NRL as it is, they don't need any more leg-ups.
