I'd go Waddell if the rumours about him starting are true. Probably still get decent minutes even if not.

Might be worth waiting until ~5:30pm today when Manly trim their squad.

    Lawrie

Thinking about byes. Would Sivo be a hold for the first bye round? In that case Lawrie or Garner are my only real trade out options for Bateman.

Sivo - I wouldn't be trading him out right now as his B/E is 12.
In saying that, would you keep him for an extra 25 points in round 12 if you know he'll lose $20-30k in round 11-12 in the process? He may have peaked by that stage.

Unless he posts another 50+ this is his last week in my squad. Made a chunk of cash and will be turning him+CHT into a gun

I'll gladly share big picture plans with anyone that asks. While I have an overall structure of players I want to own and when I want to own them it changes on a weekly basis with prices, scores and breakevens

Fingers crossed in the next month he gets another 50. Can’t see a need to trade out unless he scores back to back single digits or injured.

I think it’s more the long term plan mate. On a related topic, I really enjoy MattNZ’s quirks  cheer

I chucked one up a few threads ago. No one cared or commented, except rabbit. No pressure or reason to share your own. I can’t see what anyone would put up being a huge revelation anyway

To be fair, if any poster was going to drop a team revelation it would be MattNZ!

I'll use my own thread to discuss my team in depth (its more of a team diary lol), but tbh, I don't think too far in advance other than loose plans. Everyone has the same long term goals, and wants to navigate the byes the best they can.

I find that detailed planning gets thrown out of the window most of the time. I posted yesterday, I've made 9 trades so far this year, and 5 of them were forced through injury + one suspension. And mid season cows will pop up with little to no notice, you can't plan for them.

Its Matt's prerogative what he shares and what he doesn't. He's typically extremely open about his team and moves, but I can understand why he wouldn't want his plans for the next 8 rounds or so out there publicly.

He PM'd me, and I found what he shared interesting and well thought out to be honest.
