Hey guys, long time reader first time asker,
What do you think about picking up Lewis when Foran gets back? Could he get back to that 50+ form?

I was thinking about this today too, but just don’t personally rate him too well and don’t think I’d do it. I think the idea is good, but the other issue with it is how long Foran plays again before he picks up another injury. My bet is not long.

That's where a dpp middie comes into play.  Someone like Gutho who can sit at 18 and not cost too much cash but not too scary to play in need.     Lomax or Lawire could be one these if I dont need their cash elsewhere.  Ponga should help everyone with his DPP cover.

Another thing I was pondering today, though it’d be a very expensive undertaking. I think with a couple of DPP guys it’d be pretty easy to cover the other positions with your four emergencies. Lomax and Lawrie alone cover four spots. Someone like a Dearden in the mix and you’re set. Kind of...

Welcome mate. I think it's one of those catfish on tinder. Looks good on face value, but once you pull the trigger your life is over.

Which is it?

1 - They've signed Niko as a reserve grade player on $600k+ and are lying about their intentions?
2 - Niko will play off the bench instead of Tevaga/Roache with CHT staying as the starting half and they have lied that Green and Niko will be paired in the halves.
3 - CHT will play off the bench instead of Tevaga/Roache or we'll have three utilities on the bench?

I think the Warriors have been up front about this one and CHT will spend more time in reserve grade, only covering injuries. Blake Green and Kodi Nikorima will be the halves pairing going forward for this year.

The most likely scenario for him to play first grade is if they choose to put him on the bench over Roache but I don't see it. It's possible.

Personally, I’ll wait for team lists. Anything else is conjecture.

Its disappointing as I was enjoying watching him play.

Kearney has always said CHT was not meant to get much game time this year. He's clearly a good talent, but kicking and game management isn't up to it yet. Was cramping terribly in the last match also, which is because his body isn't quite there.

Green's body is giving up, only has a year and a half to go. CHT will get more games this year and next, before taking the range. Doubt he'd walk into any other first grade team. Although our young halves seem to throw the towel pretty quick, before being brought down to life (Hingano, Lolohea).

Nikorima instantly gives us some experience and attacking flair in the halves. Beside Green he should be alot more affective than with Milford (basically the same player, but a bit better).

Anyway, little bit pissed about Macca coming good when I trade him, but think in the long run it's the right call. Can imagine Seibold changing up the side (he has to, right?!)

I think Lolo is playing. Odds have changed a fair bit.

Any news on Garner starting mate?

For the Eels, Nathan Brown is out of the sling & back doing rehab running as he continues recovery from a pec rupture. Most require 10-14wks, would have Brown returning from Rd12 onwards. Will Smith is also back training but in non contact bib as he recovers from an arm fracture - nrlphysio

if Benji is out, likely means Matterson to 6 and a free spot in the forwards
