He's been an 80 minute player before (2rf) and regularly done 60+ in the middle. I refuse to believe a pro athlete in his 20s has lost that much fitness. It's just Des twattery.

You have to hand it to Des. If you'd told me before the season that a team with Elgey and Croker in the halves, Elliott at FB, wingers you have barely heard of would be winning NRL games, I would not have believed you. He's coaching a lot of unknown and previously underperforming individuals into a team that could make the top 8.
