Was hoping Matterson might drop some of his price tag in the halves. That won't assist that desire.

With ranked subs, late withdrawals should not be a problem. You just get your next best player come in as replacement (position dependant)
People getting switched from starting to the bench late would be the issue that you wouldn't be able to deal with
That’s the fun bit. I knew Garner wouldn’t start this week.

They could totally do that. Because the subs are ranked it would work well enough because if a late out, you're next sub comes in. They won't do it though, because late mail drives heaps of internet traffic and clicks as I understand it. Which affects revenue.
yeah I mean moreso about trading. Or you find out someone gets moved to the bench. Also, say your withdrawn player doesn't have cover you will lose points. But yeah the traffic it must generate throughout the weekend wouldn't be worth fixing it. Pretty much makes your live rank pointless

Mitchell again ignores the easy Teddy pass for a try to put on the much harder little kick inside

good shout for those of you who picked Latrell FTS
What about locking out 18-21 when the captain locks out?

Latrell looks like he is in the mood like he was post Origin and that game v Aitken last year . I think I might get him. I should hopefully be able to afford Bateman + Morgan to RTS and Mitchell. Then downgrade CHT the following week

Fantasy premier league has full lock out and nobody cares.
The number of people that post live rank updates during the round suggests that losing clicks is an overstated problem. It's not like people will stop caring about rank with full lockout

I say just get rid of rolling lockout and put some revenue raising ads in elsewhere on the NRL site. Fantasy (and supercoach) is great for the game. Ranked subs and 21 man teams is all you need. It will stop 5 hookers per team and ensure that you must have cover for late withdrawals. That’s what real coaches have to do. Yes, there’s luck involved in late withdrawals and injuries, but there is luck involved now anyway. Not everyone can sit around a computer or iPhone sweating on late changes every game, all weekend. Some people actually have lives to live and it’s why most people stop playing after 5 or 6 rounds. We’re only really playing among a few thousand tragic here and missing out on the wider audience. Later in the year, I won’t be able to micro manage my team through having a life to live and some dweeb with no life will win this, because he does nothing else but play fantasy and expect everyone else to be the same.
Get rid of the loop.

I remember full lockout and everyone hated it. Its like commentators complaining now about something forgetting they used to complain even more about how it used to be and what they want to go back to

Hard to argue with any of that.

Well, the possibility of going Bateman/Marsters has gone down with this game. Twal is having a good one at least.

Could you lock those that are injured and not on team lists at the start of the round?
Would certainly make it harder.
