Initially wanted to grab Dearden for CHT as back up cover and play Carty at half for a little. Looking at the top teams, not having Mahoney is going to hurt too much come round 12. Will have to bite the bullet and trade him back in.
CHT>Dearden and Burr>Mahoney seems less than inspiring when I could do something crazy like Lolo/Kapow and Mahoney in for Bateman and CHT with no money left over.
Will have to wait for TL and crunch the numbers.
The way things are going with Qld, there's a chance Mahoney plays origin and misses R12 anyway.

I will likely get him if Macca is long term. Bit annoying he doesn't play rnd 12 though. He should be good for at least 35 to 40 pts a week.

I wouldn't be bringing Mahoney back if you don't have Lolo/Taupau/Arey already. It doesn't matter which position they score you points in unless you are looking at having 17 players.
Can you do CHT>Deaden and Burr>Arey?
Hard to see the best option without seeing the full 21
Edit: Looks like you already have Arey but not Taupau/Lolo. If you have cash I'd go something like CHT>Dearden and Burr>Lolo. Might cost you 20k extra from waiting an extra week but you could bank 70 points this week with no McGuire

I don’t know I’d be comfortable bringing in any of the young Raider forwards. Stuart stated in earlier interviews that he intended to rotate them through NRL and Mounties for the season. That may change, but all indications are he is doing just that, even with injuries. Horseburgh has been in and out all year and he’s been playing well. I own the ranga and hopefully he gets more minutes now. I wouldn’t be bringing any of them in now.

You’re not worried about his minutes, or scoring? Last week was the first time he looked playing 80 minutes this year and scored 38 in Qcup. He’ll find first grade a lot more torrid. Might be worth a punt for some cash though.

Anyone reckon Taupaus minutes increase. First 7 rounds last year his minutes looked the same as this years. Could be the optimal time to bring him in with cherry out he might look to take on more responsibility and carry the boys.
Is the big fella building up his match fitness?
Is Dessy just a hater?

Haha, same. Well played to whoever won that avatar bet. Probably the worst pic they could have chosen. Love it.

I just noticed that the major captain choices have each performed great against Broncos in the last 3 weeks
R6 - Bateman 80
R7 - Fifita 71
R8: Cook 70
Maybe it's Taupau's time to shine.... (or hopefully Garrick again because I own him)

It's all on the internet my friend. Another fun fact was a ex secret service guy who worked in the Clinton White House & had left wrote a book & he said in the morning Hillary Clinton would look awful, tired, run down & half asleep but then she would go into her office & 5 minutes later would come out looking totally refreshed with heaps of energy so they all knew she just snorted the line.

No other starting forward in the comp would take 9 rounds to build up to match fitness. Des just wants to use him sparingly for whatever reason and since it's working why change it?
His minutes are only going to increase if they start losing and 5-10 extra minutes from him up front might change things.

Did you know the Clinton's made millions of dollars selling uranium to the Russians a couple of years ago. Did you know that Chelsea Clinton had her wedding paid for & a new apartment paid for out of the Clinton foundation which btw NZ has made donations too. Yes the foundation that was set up to help people & charities but who knew that Chelsea Clinton needed help to pay for her wedding & a new apartment haha the poor girl.

I thought you may have retired as Penrith coach by now. He’s played 8 weeks straight, 80 minutes, and that isn’t going to change because of Sele. Even if he were on an edge, which I doubt, he’ll still score his average....or more. He’ll need to complete the tackle on the edge, whereas in the middle he has 2-3 supporting tacklers, so he rolls away and gets a missed tackle, when it actually isn’t. JFH, averaging 53, will sit very nicely in my 14-17 and play R12.
I called JFH overvalued when he was $721k, since then despite Sele not coming back the past 2 weeks when he was expected to, both Kikau and Yeo getting injured, leading to him playing 80 twice more, he still dropped in price each of the last 2 weeks, now $698k with a BE of 56 and of course you are delusional enough to try to call that a victory to you!! Facts are facts and I called his peak when you were on the wrong side of the argument.
