Have a lot more confidence he gets a big score next to SJ, doesn't get opportunities next to Flanagan.

    Cook
    Fifita, Haas
    Murray, Arrow, Taumalolo

    Tedesco, Ponga, CNK

    Smith, Rein, Lawrie, Waddell

    Okunbor, Lomax, CHT, DBrown

$67k in the bank. Don't expect to be trading next round but I am pretty sure I have said that the last two rounds. Bateman gave me the opportunity to bring in two keepers now (ARey, JT13)

Ranked at 197th. I am as surprised as you are.
    Hmmm... hope you’re about to make a mad run filthy because I too have gone all slats so far and sitting 41 places behind you with only 4 differences in our first 17;

You - Tlolo Cleary Lawrie Waddell
Me - Burr Pearce Mahoney Tolman

Big JT probably gives you the marginal edge but I like my chances of staying in touch, and prefer my bench! hoping to turn Burr into Taumalolo after he loses his high BE this week which will make our teams even closer

And also all you reds just keep on walking... alone, together or however the hell you like... without that premier league trophy in hand for ideally another 29 years Laughing

Why is this forum so heavily Liverpool.
Old Craig Johnston fans? Or young Harry Kewell fans?

So Young played left edge when Bateman came off and Whitehead switched to the right edge. Any reason it won't stay that way going forward?

Morgan I'm holding.  He has to come good and gets 40 points from doing fuck all.  He HAS to improve.  I'm being stubborn on this one.

Hopefully with Feldt back, we'll see a LBA or TA from Morgan to the right wing.

Feldt back is a big inclusion and gives Morgan much better strike power to work with.

Morgan became Cleary for me a couple weeks back. Cleary needs to re-find his running game and add some more kicking. Can easily be a 53+ avg half. Panthers are sure to hit a purple patch so hopefully Cleary can hit one too.

There are loads of pool fans across both NZ and Australia. They have been a top team for many years and were very successful only a decade or two ago.

I'm supposed to hate Liverpool being a toffee but I don't... I'm happy to hate Man Utd and City though Razz

I am worried about the options both being poor in the Lomax/Kahu poophole I need to perform over the next 3-4 weeks until Burns returns. Any other Bateman owners considering Bird as a still undervalued replacement? Thinking of making it the Bird/Lomax/Kahu poophole instead, which would make me a bit more comfortable. Might not even need Burns with this combo.

I think I am a Liverpool fan because my mate is a United fan and the first ever win I got on Fifa was with Liverpool plus I also like supporting at least 1 team/person in every sport. Plus at the time I first starting supporting them there was Lallana, Gerrard, Mignolet, Coutinho, Sturridge and Sterling and i loved all of them Smile

    BUMP

Thinking of just going Bateman and CHT to Dearden and CS9 leaving me with this:

    19 trades 174k bank

    Cook
    Fifita Tolman
    Murray Taupau Arrow
    ARey Ponga
    Nikora Xerri
    Hughes CNK Sivo

    Smith
    Mahoney
    Rein
    Haas

    Lawrie
    Whitbread
    Dearden
    Brown

Will ride it out with Xerri til Burns comes back, will trade out Drown for him if he isn’t back yet. Hughes needs to be upgraded also but not urgent immediately. Thoughts?

Thinking might trade bird back in. Not that confident in Xerri for some reason. Trades would be Bateman and Garner out for Bird and Arey.

Yeah, Flanagan loved turning it back inside or grubbering for Nikora. The good sign for Xerri was from memory that his TB’s weren’t all just in one or two plays. He only had 7 or 8 runs and no big plays which suggests when he does get opportunities he’ll put another big score on.

Good god, you would be walking alone saying things like that over here haha
Toffees take great pride in being the true scousers and take the piss out of Liverpool fans all being from Norway and Denmark, but quite right that Australia full of them too, as is Ireland. Lot of history helps.

What a truly amazing win and was some viewing for all lovers of footy.

Your reasoning is sound but Lomax has only played in his favoured ctr position once & that was last week. He was on 22 at half time & in the 2nd half the Dragons got smashed so he didn't score too well & I think he ended up on 31. However they are playing the Warriors this week & there will be no capitulation in the 2nd half.

There's only 1 Ian Rush. He was a mixture of Messi & Ronaldo & the rumour goes the parents of Messi & Ronaldo kidnapped Ian Rush illegally taking some of his dna & injected their babies with it.

My dad is from Liverpool. Used to hitchhike around the country to follow them home and away when he was a teenager. When I was young I once asked if I could follow another team, and he said it was OK, as long as I didn't mind being out of the family.

My aunts still live pretty close to Anfield, always good to pay a visit.
