No surgery for Macca. Update from Broncos website:

"We had some good news last night in that 'Macca' does not need an operation," said Seibold.

"He saw the specialist last night and he will be out for around six weeks.

"We thought it was going to be 10 to 12 weeks.

"It is a really positive thing."

Andrew McCullough will not require surgery on his MCL injury, and the Broncos are expecting him to miss 6 weeks. Most grade 3 MCL injuries (complete rupture) require 6-8 weeks recovery in the NRL - nrlphysio

I'm brining in Turpin this week.

Maybe he should replace John Sutton next season.

Bennett is good with blokes who don't like training (if that is even true about Martin)

Yeah he is only signed on till 2019. An article on NRL.com last month indicated that he might not get a new contract at Bulldogs.

I just really rate him, has something about him. Dump woods, duges retires.... plenty o space !

I suppose that depends on how well Turpin does?

    Im so conflicted between Young/Turpin/Dearden

With my current rank i have no idea what to do

6 weeks is 5 games due to the bye. Then the 7th week is the rep weekend with no games.

Maybe he'd play round 14 if he was close to fit and Queensland wanted him for origin.

I wasn’t considering him till next week, but if he can loosely translate his Fantasy scoring AND plays 80 he might be interesting.

Are we thinking he plays 80 straight up in the big leagues though?

So you're saying he scored 24 in 8 minutes. That's some big PPM.

Everyone scores at a massive PPM if you only include the game time around them scoring a try.

I’m in same boat. Leaning towards young, although he has played a few games, still only valued at 213k. Concerning.

Think the most valuable thing to do for me is hold the trade. Only saved three so far. Ranked in top 500 so don’t need to do anything drastic just yet.

Young and Turpin will probably make the fastest money, while Dearden and Lomax have the better long-term job security. At this point I'd rank them Dearden, Lomax, Young, Turpin, Field – but if you're happy to gamble then bump up Young and Turpin a place or two.
    Agree?
It’s a pretty clear way to break it down. So how you rank them depends on what you want. I want “Young Hudson’s” potential quick dollaroonies and Round 12 points.

I’ve changed my mind on my trades. I was going Deardon and RTS.

I’m now going Bateman/CHT > Reynolds/Sele. Makes sense to bring in 2 x R12 players and Sele could find himself starting soon, given Kikau is always either injured, getting injured or miraculously recovering from injury. Yeo is gone, so I’ll take the punt. He should average 35, even off the bench. He’s in my emgs anyway. The other cows all either don’t play R12, or have job security issues, so I’m passing. If Young can cement a spot, I can use him as a cash out next week. I want Lolo soon, but will cross my fingers and hope his price drops a little.

Tip of the week : Captain Cook  Very Happy

Good luck for the weekend lads and lasses. Up the Bunnies!

Turpin, a starting hooker at $248k! Seems like highway robbery to me.

I currently don't have Dearden, Lomax, Turpin or Young in my team. When you got a ton of cash in the bank though and you can get double guns in for McCullough and Bateman, might as well take it.

Whitbread, Okunbor and Host have already stung me this year. I'll take the points straight up then another week of hoping the cows go alright for cash generation.
