    Deal, what do you want?
I can offer you a Wristy from @Welshy or you can choose the avatar for @VERTiiGO when the Chooks are roasted this Sunday. Transfer me the 157k and you can even have both (on proof of it reaching my account of course).

Bugger it, I think despite my reservations and warning people about Hudson Young all week I might succumb and jump on him myself. Feels like a terrible play given how many trades I've used so far, but so many of those have been injury driven and I'm so far behind other teams in cash generation without the likes of Sivo and such in my team I might have to take the least of two evils. Though I'm doing so fully expecting to have to ditch him in 2-3 weeks however. Just seems he makes the cash i want (both in my initial downgrade to him and then the money over those weeks) and i can't see a better way to do it.

Triple that price for the trades I'm afraid, they are in very short supply in the chumps management.

I literally haven't even checked (although I will now) which is bizarre as bye planning used to be my major weapon. I think I tried to bye plan last year after the changes to the bye round/reduction in squad size and had my worst finish for about 3 years, so this year I resolved just to grab the best players I could when they were available and worry about byes in the couple of weeks before they roll around.

Edit: I have 7 and that's including Murray which is looking less and less likely Shocked

HLF cover would be a Ponga switch with Turbo in, but you're right on the CTR, thought i had cover for that but i must have thought i had seen a dual WFB/CTR somewhere there wasn't... might re-adjust and plan on Burns as an 18th man...

I’m seriously thinking about breaking the captain Cook rule. Just this week. Last game on that mulched up cow paddock, he’ll be lucky just to get through the game without major injury, let alone do much sprinting around. Fifita first game...hmmm. Question Bang

I've always thought they should offer extra trades every week at the cost of 40 points per trade (or something in that vicinity)

There'd be people here who'd make 5 trades every week.

I don’t think there’s a consensus. A bit of each. Some of none.

I very much like that concept as I always burn through my trades every year haha but instead of a straight 40 point loss imo it's better you pay for their average. You buy player a who's averaging 60 then you're charged 60 points.

Don't do it to yourself. I did it last week and it hurt

I reckon without McGuire, they'll be a period without Lolo & McLean on the field and Souths should prosper. Also he's getting high base stats without the running

For stuff like this it can be useful looking at the community team trade polls.

Not always directly transferable to your own team, but gives an idea on what people are thinking.

In this case Dearden slightly over Young, with Turpin a fair way behind.

Probably Dearden for job security, Yoing for round 12 potential.
I think Turpin has the best cash making chances, but is a little bit more expensive and with cash tight, can make a difference

Hi MTB, I was wondering if you could add a stat on your website? It would be great if you had a "currently priced at xx points" stat, in the player profile. Maybe next to their current price.
For example Mitch Aubusson Love 394k (27)

Yeah, same with me mate. I only checked this week. If I count Murray and Mahoney I have 5. I do believe BHunt will be there before a rookie Hooker so probs should have counted him as the 4th.

The Bye Planning used to be my main weapon as well. Made some crazy calls and sideways trades, always seemed to pay off by the end of the bye period. Became a real addiction to see how much ground I could make up between Rounds 12 and 18/19 each year.

Same here, even after my Captaincy spiel last week about picking and sticking. I’ve C’d Cook all year, but this is kind of a unique situation.
