Filthy. I didn’t cop the Farah effort but copped James instead. We can wallow together

Looking forward to the so called swings and roundabouts assuming they ever come

    Cheers

I am one of these......lost my H2H last week by 19 pts because of it.....hate this game right now.

Worst thing was I switched Captaincy from CS9 to Fifita shortly before kick off as I didn't trust the ground holding up and wanted to bank the early captain points

Feel bad for you lads, captain Fifita is certainly a kick in the nuts especially on a Thursday night.

I looped Capewell, Xerri and Carty.  Will take Capewell's score but can't trade a 2FR in as Capewell at 19.  Looking at Reynolds and Turpin.  Hopefully can climb a few ranks this week with my strategy.

What do people think of my idea about if your C goes off injured (And doesn't come back on the field for the remaining of the game) within the first 10 minutes, then your VC scored gets doubled instead?

It's a real kick in the ass having your C go off injured 5 minutes into the game, your C is the most important player.

Trying to decide if Waddell still worth getting? Surprisingly if remove outlying scores of 5 and 68 he averages 36.6 which is average of the 2 outliers. Not that means anything

Can't figure out his security and usual minutes. Many raved about him early and alas I missed the boat

Yeah, I don't like it. I'm dirty AF about captaining Fifita, but that is something you can't implement.

Bad luck is just part of the game. I think changes like that are worse than the problem they are trying to solve.
Your captain is your captain, good or bad, no second chances

What if your Captain scored a tackle busting try (or 2) in the first 8 minutes. He could end up scoring higher than your VC.

This is the nature of fantasy sports man. I 100% see where you are coming from, but when you start making arbitrary allowances for random stuff, where does it stop? It sux, but we have to live with it.

A problem would be created if your captain was injured after 11min. One way of solving the problem would be NOT to have captains or vice-captains

Gold Coast coach Garth Brennan came out after the game and blamed his senior players for playing "dumb" football, but I can't help think he is the problem.

He replaced a front rower with a winger, pushing Cartwright into the middle which wouldn't have helped the Titans defense with he and Rein being in the middle together. Both renown for their shit defense and in fact they missed more tackles then the entire Sharks team.

Also with Boyd being ruled out of the game after 11 min, you would assume the bench players and remaining middle men would play bigger minutes, but this wasn't the case
    Wallace 46 min
    Fotuaika 44 min
    Arrow 67 min
    King 13 min
    Stockwell 17 min

I'll admit my football knowledge is minimal, is Brennan a shit coach or am I wrong?

Has anybody else noticed Ash Taylors price? 365k for a guy who averaged 40 last year. He has scored 49 last week & 50 this week (so price will probs be up to about 400k after this round). Is there a reason he started the year so poorly? I notice one game he only played 27 minutes. If he was injured and then brought back from injury too early could that be the reason? Is he worth picking up for round 12?

Time the player goes off on the official NRL clock. You can get injured 30 seconds into the game but if you don't go off until 10:01, then the points stay.
